Great experience here today. The staff seem to enjoy themselves and went out of their way to ensure we had a good meal. Gluten free option was a nice surprise. They also have turkey burgers and veggie burgers available.
We'll be back when we return to Chester.

Outstanding homemade pizza! Restaurant is super cute with railroad theme and working model train and it is spotless. Customer service is superb. The owner goes out of his way to make certain everyone feels welcome and enjoys their meal. Steady flow of customers and at times the line is out the door but service is fast and friendly. Don’t miss this restaurant if you are in the area!

I always make a point to stop in every year during my annual trip to Lake Almanor. I feel like a really valued guest and the food is incredible. Combined with a great theme and friendly staff I really could not give enough praise.

Very polite people excellent food burgers and fries and fish sandwich. Best burger place in Chester hands down. Sit inside and watch the train make to rounds around the room or sit outside and enjoy the cool clean mountain air.

Classic burgers with many options, Burger Depot won my family's heart with friendly, funny, patient service, and some excellent music. The chili and waffle fries were particularly tasty after a long day in Lassen.

Wonderful experience. It’s a great burger joint where you order your food at the counter. Also they have very reasonably priced kids menu (PS I would order the corn dogs for myself —— delicious). The train theme kept my toddler happily occupied so we could eat like didn’t have a toddler at our table. The food was delicious and service was impeccable. But I have to give a special shout to the proprietors, the owner took his time with every single customer and his co-owner/wife kept the restaurant immaculate. It is so nice to see business owners and employees take pride in their business and their job. This will be part of our annual trip to the lake. Highly recommended. They also raise money for local charities or causes by selling cookies. Two very tasty peanut butter cookies for $1. Just love this place.

We were taking our girls up to summer camp and Burger Depot turned out to be a great stop. Big juicy burgers and darn good fries. Also the decoration theme is a train depot with lots of cool train signs and items to look at.

My sons love coming to this place and beg to go to the train restaurant when we go to the cabin. Very cute train decor. Food is ok, typical American fare, but my kids love it and eat all their food too.
