Jalapenos

Been coming to this place since early 2011. This is by far the best, most consistent Mexican restaurant in the state of Virginia. It was a great place before Covid ,however even as short staffed as they were today we had amazing food and service as always. They value you as a person and as a customer. If you have not been, check them them out and if you have, please continue to support this great place and great people. By they way, their salsa is delicious and can’t be touched.

First time eating here. Went on a Sunday afternoon. Was noticeably busy but we were seated right away. Order taken quickly. Had to wait a bit for good but it was well worth it. Very good flavor (Fajitas Texanas) and sweet tea was on point. Clean & friendly environment. Will definitely eat here again.

This place is always amazing! Great service but one particular server sticks out the most. This amazing person goes by Lillian and she is undoubtedly the best server I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her attitude is outstanding and is a joy to be around. Salute to you Lillian you are the bomb.com and some! 😁

It was my first time here. My daughter took me out for Mother's Day. I liked it at Jalapenos. The atmosphere was good, very spacious, they played a mixture of good music that wasn't over to loud. The food was good. I had the seafood chimichanga wich looked like it could be called a burrito but it was still good, nice chunks of lobster tail, scallops and shrimp. The waitress to very pleasant and knew how to serve. She was very consistent on checking on us which was a major plus. The prices were also a plus because it didn't break bank. Thank you so much we enjoyed our time, food and services received at Jalapenos.

Several of us were in town for Jeff Cup. This place was across the parking lot from our hotel-several tried it based on the rating--Most of us were very disappointed. Strawberry margarita was syrupy and barely any ice. Was hard to drink because of it's poor taste. Chips/salsa were fair. The cup of cheese was the white cheese, which I found also very, very tasteless. The enchilada was fine but the chicken taco was very dry. The staff was very nice and attentive. Some in our group got a steak which was recommended and they said it was bad. The mojito was ok, but strong. Rice and beans were average at best-- Sadly being in a small strip mall--no real character inside.
