Christopher's Bistro

This place is a small bar and dining area. It gets busy on Fridays and the weekend, and we can understand why. The food was delicious and service was great. You could smell all the quality dishes coming from the kitchen. We had the Tuna tostadas as an apatizer. I wish I had taken a photo, but we gobbled them up. Everything about it was so good (crispy shells, tasty and perfectly paired sauces that were crafted with quality in mind). Truly. It was very well done. Dinner was just as great. I had the Crispy Buttermilk Chicken sandwich with Parmesan fries. My companion had the Pan seared salmon. We were both very delighted. We went on a Friday around rush hour-ish, where it was still early but folks were starting to come in. If you want a quieter atmosphere, I'd suggest getting there on the earlier side as it seems like it can get filled up, though I will say that the tables were decently spaced apart and roomy. The pricing was very reasonable, especially for the quality of the food. I will go again. It would probably be great for a weeknight dinner too.

We have lived here for 2 years, TWO YEARS, and I am upset at ourselves since we didn't stop at this place until today! I have read the recommendations on Facebook groups and I have even seen the ratings on google but I am not sure why we didn't stop here until today. It's not like we live in a different location, we live in Chester. Anyway, this place is amazing! Love the clean homey feel of the dining area and the server made you feel at home as well. She was very attentive and was on top on ensuring we were okay, if we wanted refills, and if we were satisfied with our meal. Service and atmosphere aside, the food was amazing! I love the sriracha honey wings! Some of the best wings I've ever had! Had some crispy bits on the outside, juicy on the inside and the seasoning and sauce were on point! I had pasta, I don't remember the exact dish name but it was shrimp with chopped up spicy sausage in a cajun type sauce. So good! Had a nice little kick to it but not too crazy even though I can handle crazy. Everything about my meal was overall great. Hubby had the buttermilk batter chicken sandwich but I didn't get a taste of it (was too full from my own dish) but I did try his fries which were really good too! He had stated that it was a good sandwich but the bread to chicken ratio was a bit off. He loved the bread but it was too thick for the chicken. He said it had a mayo type sauce which was good as well. We noticed that they have a bar as well. We will have to bring our son with us the next time as he's as much of a foodie as we are and we both know he'd love it like we did. Great spot for families, date night, or just to hang out for some drinks.

Had the opportunity to eat here last weekend. We walked in right after the lunch rush on a Saturday. Thank you for an excellent meal. The food we ordered was fresh, delicious and fairly priced.The buttermilk chicken and the burger both tasted delicious. The regular fries were average to above average taste, but the sweet potatoes were really good. Staff was courteous and friendly. Will visit again if I go by chester.

I love Christopher’s Bistro. I’ve been a patron for few years now and am always happy. The food is consistently very good. The waitstaff is very friendly and welcoming. Shout out to Valerie who is an amazing bartender! If you’re in Chester or in the area and haven’t been to Christopher’s, give it a try and enjoy!

Delicious!! We were celebrating a friend’s birthday in town and didn’t know the area but menu online looked great. So we ordered some food for catering to feed 15 people. From the beet salad to the penne ala vodka to the chicken dish, all fantastic!! They made sure our food was made fresh even in the blizzard when the restaurant closed early. Thank you!!
