Rustic Wheelhouse Restaurant

My favorite place to dine in Chester! I've been to Rustic Wheelhouse many times for lunch and once for dinner. Each time I have had something different, and each time, I have been very happy with the meal. During my most recent visit, the waiter (who was very sweet) suggested I try the pizza. I'm so glad I did because it is one of THE BEST pizzas I've had in quite some time. Kudos to this lovely family owned establishment for giving their customers delicious food at reasonable prices in a comfortable family-friendly environment.

The service is amazing! Dustin was incredible. My only reason for 4 stars is that I felt the portion sizes were a little strange for the pricing. They gave my husband a very small portion of raviolis and me a decent portion of chicken. The food was pretty good but we probably won’t be back because it does seem a bit overpriced for the portion sizes of some of the menu items. I wish I got to try the tiramisu or the cheesecake but they were all out.

My wife and I were looking for somewhere to eat and we remembered a friend told us about The Rustic Wheel house in downtown Chester. We were not disappointed as we are very critical when it comes to eating out! The food was excellent! I had the Homemade Pappardelle with a light mushroom cream sauce and my wife had the salmon baked in parchment paper and a nice salad comes with your dinner! Family owned husband is the chef and wife works the front end and even stopped by our table! Can’t wait to go back as we have been very disappointed with so many restaurants in the area! Also our waiter was excellent!

Family owned and operated, serving delicious Italianate food like pizza and gnocchi. Seating on ground floor and lower level. Both levels have full bars with multiple beers on draft. Spacious tiled bathrooms. No wi-fi. Friendly, efficient waitstaff. On April 17th, 2019 Larry Sharpe appeared here after his historic run for NY Governor as the Libertarian Party’s candidate.
