Good service? The best. Took a friend who was celiac. /glutton free, the staff could not have been more helpful, nothing was a problem. The best thing about this restaurant is the food, so tasty, and the customers are so mixed, lots of different age groups, all there to have fun

O'TOKUDA. This restaurant is very welcoming and can be hard to get a table unless you arrive early. Booking highly recommended. The food is always fresh well prepared and such a bargain on the all you can eat menu. Mixture of gorgeous platters with favourites like ribs and Satay Skewers, as well as all the delightful suchi and sushimi. I go often and will for years
I went there the evening before my 50th and had a great meal. Love the idea that you can have your pick and the quality is super. Not the usual ' all you can eat' canteen food. Well impressed, will visit again. Staff great too . Thanks
Consistently good food and service from this place - have taken our young son too and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Takeaway comes in handy too though shame no delivery service.
Excellent Grub. Recommended to me by friends, me and the wife had a last minute thought to pop along last weekend.
Don't be put off by the location - those old enough to remember the clubs and clubbers that used to frequent this area.
Staff are really friendly and customer focussed - spent time to talk through the menu and explain exactly what was excluded from the all-you-can-eat option.
The food was fresh and all-you-can-eat portions sensibly sized so two people can enjoy 4 starters and 4 main courses with rice and noodles without being too stuffed.
Japanese with the inclusion of Chinese options make the menu accessible and familiar to those less adventurous, and with Teppan-Yaki available as well you are guaranteed a cracking night out.
PS For those that like beer they served a favourite (and maybe not so authentic tipple of mine) Kirin Ichiban.
O Tokuda. Friendly warm nothing is to much trouble for this well run restaurant. The food is second to none and we have been to sushi bars all over the world at seriously expensive prices and I have to say not only on the price issue but the food quality out shines them all. We have always been made welcome even though we have a 6 month old baby and a 12 year old with us. The buffet gives loads of selection even if your not a sushi lover there are platters of mixed starters with ribs chicken king praws etc , and loads of meat and veggie main courses, It really is all you can eat and everything is freshly prepared and brought to the table instead of the buffets where food has been sat there for hours. This is also prefect if there is something ie peppers in the dish these can be left out to suit. We can't recomend this restaurant highly enough we have taken all our friends that visit us here and they have all been wowed....see you there.

Fantastic all you can eat Japanese/ pan Asian restaurant. Incredible value for money, very tasty food and a wide selection of dishes. Service was excellent too.
We have enjoyed the outstanding food, atmosphere and great service which Jess, Mark and their great team have provided on many occasions over the years.
Our dinner last night (Thursday) was out standing in every respect.
They succeed in delivering the best Japanese food in Derbyshire and we quit eating when our satisfied bellies were bulging.
Cant wait for our return.

Two of us love the salmon sashimi very much and ordered 6 dishes totally. They are fresh and in good sizes. The staff are nice although only 2 of them were there. Chef all wear traditional Japan chef clothes, so professional.
Their oriental dishes are good surprisingly. Char Siu is similar to HK taste. King prawns done all good in different sauce. Deep fried Won Ton is in good standard , similar to HK dim sum. Singapore rice vermicelli is nice as well. We take the order, and foods come over rapidly.
More importantly, it costs £25 per head. That is a reasonable price in Chesterfield town centre.
Would definitely try again and try other dishes. There are 91 dishes available.
Couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Food is spot on and the price is cheap for what you can get. One of my favourite spots to eat, frequently go... booking ahead of time is best, but can usually get a table if you call on the same day ..
Newly refurbished, with a large variety of dishes on the new menu. Lovely starters, fresh sashimi, crispy tempura. A nice selection of unique rolls, the flavour combinations were great! We even had some cocktails and desserts to complement the meal. Prices pretty reasonable too 👍 All in all, very pleased and looking forward to dining here again.

Excellent food, catered for gluten free and vegan, all delicious and even bought out a surprise happy birthday ice cream platter for our son, whose birthday meal it was. Excellent place for the family
O-tokuda has always been one of my favourite places to go to for sushi and Chinese food. It serves Chinese, Japanese and Korean cuisine now, and since it has reopened the building feels much more spacious and even more beautifully decorated. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I've only ever been for the buffet, but I have never had anything bad from here yet, the quality is always good. I will hopefully come back again when I have the time to do so and I always recommend O-tokuda to friends and family. The sushi is fresh as always and the chicken dishes are perfect. Honestly could not fault them, I should have made the review sooner. O-tokuda is fairly wheelchair friendly, you have to go through the back entrance where the kitchens are to be able to enter, but it's not a bad thing as the staff are there to help. Love this place!
A great family-owned authentic hidden gem in Chesterfield! Tried the buffet menu on this first visit and it was very nice! Definitely a must go back to try more menu options :) Oh and the staff team are fabulous and very friendly!
Lovely food. I'm really glad I finally got round to trying the place. Service was a little hit and miss, but it was super busy, so it's understandable. There was a right rowdy bunch next to us to the point where we asked to move, and to be fair, this was accommodated straight away. Would return at some point in the future, probably just not on a late Saturday evening
