Beautiful little restaurant with real, satisfying and delicious Italian food.
The meals were cooked fresh, and served piping hot at the table.
And the staff were very helpful and friendly.
The menu states "vegetarian options on request" and actually meant anything on the menu apart from a small number of items can be made vegetarian!

Very friendly staff and good service. Great decor and atmosphere. Big starter portions. The tagliatelle had a lot of sauce which made it alike to a soup. The pizza is good (tomato-ey). I enjoyed my peppered steak and left a clean plate. The 3 desserts our group had were alright, but nothing special.

Good wholesome food, great value for money. Wonderful 1970s decor and great, welcoming staff. Eaten here since 1975. Fabulous place. Only drawback, is the stairs!

What can i say about this place,what an authentic beautiful little gem,the deco is traditional which I love,not many give you that these days,the food is fresh and absolutely delicious.The staff are a delight,very welcoming and couldn't do enough for you.I didn't want to leave.I look forward to many more visits.

Lovely little treasure in the town centre. Yes the decor is dated but for me it adds to the charm. Its not 's relying on lighting made from old scaffolding poles and othe hipster tosh you find in some modern places where you pay £10 for a fishfinger sandwich and chips in a cup . The food is good honest authentic food and full of flavour. The portion sizes are good you will leave full. It is not not overpriced pretentious nonesence. I will be back soon with my friends and family.

Not many places in town you can get a nice quality steak with sauce for £13 great value in that respect. Would recommend if you can put up with dark, slightly outdated decor that is a bit dirty.

Been going here on and off for 40 years. It's It's just like putting on your favourite pair of slippers. Everything is comfortable and relaxing. Going with three teeenagers, there is plenty of choice on the menu to suit everyone. Can't fault it.
