1st visit and won't be our last. Food was loverly proper pub grub! Drinks were spot on and staff were friendly and polite. Nice to find a proper pub that's not a chain. Not quite within walking distance for us but come the summer months we may give it ago! Will deffo be coming for food regularly though. Already reccomended to others! Thank you!
Proper village pub. Been past it loads but first time visit last night with a Christmas meal with a group of 30 or so people.
Food was great, service was great. Very welcoming place, great friendly atmosphere and very reasonable prices. Will definitely be back.

Traditional pub. Decent beer choice. Immaculately clean. I cannot comment on the food as we did not eat.
Sunday lunches are amazing, all homemade and definitely value for money. Would absolutely recommend

Just called in after a nice walk down the green way from clowne. We decided to have something to eat. And for the price you pay the meal was lovely. It was nice and fresh,hot and the service was good.
Looking for a pub with good grub at very reasonable price, then it’s The Albert. After a long walk four of us tucked into gourmet chips that were superb, as was my steak. Good real ale too and a very friendly landlord. What more could you ask for?
Loved it they fit us is last min the food was spot on tasty & plenty of it. The puddings were fab! Proper pub grub and proper pub atmosphere as it should be. Staff friendly and polite. Highly recommended well be back
