Horse And Groom - Chesterfield - Photo album

It's a quiet countryside pub that I've known for years. Definitely worth a stop for a drink. You'll not be disappointed by the friendly service.
Good selection of beer's pleasant staff and nice to see it still has a good clientele base and as a bonus it was Thursday night local farmers with old vintage tractors. 10+ on show so good night.
Wonderful friendly pub. Didn't serve food but sold excellent pork pies that they make themselves.
I had a wonderful time at this charming pub! The customer service was top-notch, and the drinks were reasonably priced. The atmosphere was perfect, creating a cozy and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!
Popped in for a pint on our way to Matlock. Very friendly cosy pub.
Nice pint. Local ales. Do note that it's cash only and no food.
I'd just arrived in Chesterfield from Australia, and on the very first day I met a great local bloke, Ken. He took me too his three favorite pubs. The Horse and Groom was our first stop. The section we entered was a quaint, cosy little area. A fire place there for the cooler evenings and an excellen
A real pub, very well run, friendly and welcoming staff and customers love the place.
This is a friendly and cosy traditional village pub. During the summer months they host a "classic car" gathering every 1st and 3rd Thursday evening of each month. The only reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is that they only accept cash. They do not accept cards. For me the most important thi
A most welcoming outlet serving quality hand pulled beers with friendly staff and very friendly customers. sorry but no food served here unless you want crisps but a great place for socialising
We were just passing by sat nav error and I remembered that they had good beer. Could it be the same? Pubs alter so quickly these days. Heaven's above what a great selection of fine ales! Unfortunately I was driving but made a mental note, there's a bus stop outside, use your old farts pass and come
Traditional pub with a great atmosphere. Called after work on a Friday it was busy. They don't serve food as such but they do havewe pork pie with mustard, which we really enjoyed with a pint.
After a long walk we called in with dogs and were made very welcome in the conservatory. There was only one member of staff serving but she was very efficient so we didn't have to wait long.Would recommend and will definitely go again.
Lovely local pub, accepts dogs. Just a shame it's cash only
Great country pub. Good selection of beers. Cosy best room. Quaint snug. Excellent light and airy conservatory at the back where dogs are allowed. Plus a good size outside patio and lawn. If you are in the area and fancy a pint I'd highly recommend it. Friendly staff and locals. Proper pub. (Don't g
A true pub! A wonderful selection of drinks, a warm welcoming atmosphere, plenty of seating inside and out
A place you visit and feel your going back in time. Don't expect anything modern except the lovely orangery out the back. It's an old time regulars pub who are happy to chat to you if you wanna chat to them. Friendly bar staff who dont look at you weirdly because your not a regular. Just a friendly
Nice staff. Lovely place to go for a drink. They have a quiz on a Sunday.
