Absolutely fantastic! Fish really fresh and fried in beer batter that was crispy and light. (See photo of my full size knife next to fish, to give you an idea of how big a large fish is!) Chips were gorgeous! Golden brown and crispy on the outside. Triple fried. Beautiful! Curry sauce was tasty with a bit of a kick to it. Restaurant grade food at take away prices! Thoroughly Recommended. Best Fish and Chip Shop in Derbyshire!

The best fish and chip shop in town. Everything I have had has been perfect. The food is cooked fresh as you wait which makes it taste so good. The chips are twice cooked and the batter is made with Brampton breweries beer. Also, the curry sauce is out of this world; best curry sauce you will ever taste, fact.

Just had my 1st visit here but definitely NOT the last. We chose the meal box which contained a small fish chips a side homemade tartare sauce and a wedge of lemon. Fish and chips were perfectly cooked. Nice and crispy but still moist. Not too much better. Big portion of mushy peas and lovely homemade tartare sauce. Couldn't finish it as decent portion sizes. Service was friendly and fast too! Well done

Finally.... a good chip shop in Chesterfield after disappointments to greasy sponges of batter with a tiny bit of fish which are most of the places in Chesterfield. The Chippy is perfection everything from the staff to the quality of the food it's now a weekly staple for us. Please go if you fancy good fish and chips if you don't like it I'll give you your money back myself. Also finally someone that uses beef dripping instead of oil makes a huge difference not greasy at all.

Well what can I say? This chip shop is the best and I mean the best within the area. Ordered a fish and I must say it's the best fish I have experienced and a different quantity to Chesters. Trust me the chef is fantastic and it's a much try. Thanks Robbie W

By far the best fish and chips I have tried in the East Midlands. I highly recommend giving them a try, you won't want to go back to the greasy chips and tasteless batter from your usual chippy.

10/10 hands down the best chippy in the area fantastic crispy flavoursome fish 🐠 and triple cooked chips 🍟 cleverly prepared in the all important beef dripping the way it should be finished off with a slice of lemon 🍋 and some homemade tartar sauce I will be making a point of returning to this superb establishment ❤

If you like less batter on your fish, you can order it lightly battered, as all fish is freshly fried, lovely.
