The staff here have always greeted us with a warm smile. The range of food here is great. Tasty breakfast to filling lunches and sweet treats available. Recommend booking if you deffo want to go here as it gets full quickly as they have a large base of regular customers. Gluten free and vegetarian options available.

Absolutely great for money, large portions of meals, very polite and friendly staff, very accommodating, Lovely atmosphere, close to the town centre, definitely recommend quiche salad, sandwiches with fries and salad, belly buster..(2sausages, tomatoes, beans, 2 egg 4 slices of bacon 2 hash browns, 1 slice of fried bread 2 slices of toast plus butter, mushrooms, plus choice of sauce ).. Eggs Benedict, basically everything on the menu look amazing and very delicious..plus they have a specials board, huge beverages menu tooI would recommended a visit..

I came across Filippelli's after another restaurant was full, and what a great bit of luck that turned out to be. One enters into what appears to be "thrown together" decor, which greatly adds to the charm of this small, cosy bistro. As soon as we sat down we were offered drinks, and chose very smooth, and large lattés. We both chose breakfasts from the very extensive menu and I'm afraid to say that we couldn't eat everything on the plate, but that is because of the amounts rather than the quality. It was absolutely superb. There is a very laid back atmosphere in Filippelli's and the ambience is that of a small village café, where everyone knows everyone else. Finally to cap our experience, the owner came and sat with us and chatted for 5 minutes. It really is an excellent place. We'll definitely be back.

Had breakfast on Christmas Eve. Made a booking via Facebook...venue was more than happy to respond All staff were very attentive, always asking if we were ok and if more water for tea was needed etc. The offer of festive treats after our meal was always very much appreciated...even if too full to even consider!! Opted for the £9.99 standard breakfast with refill of tea or coffee - fantastic value. Very well presented, warm and very tasty - the offer to swap any of the items was also very much appreciated. Good quality sausage used and hash browns were great - would have liked scrambled eggs but I'm sure I would have been able to have this if I would have asked. Good atmosphere all customers seemed to be enjoying themselves and the hospitality offered. Would definitely recommend. Thank you very much Filippellis
