Lovely lunch on Tuesday. Plus added bonus of 40% off voucher. I had salmon. It was just delicious and hubby had mixed grill. Excellent service too

Really friendly place to go for a drink and a nice meal. Food is great, not too expensive, staff are really friendly and chatty. Definitely my local for going for some nice food and a drink

Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Food was great. We had a rump steak and a sirloin steak: both were tender and tasty (just that the one we ordered well done was medium, and the one we ordered medium was medium-rare).

We booked a table for 8 for a family birthday, the booking process was easy and Chris confirmed our table would be ready for our arrival. The ladies were especially helpful with regards to the offers for the children’s meals, food was spot on arrived swiftly and had no complaints Jess looked after our table the whole evening and was great. Will be back soon.

We(as a family of 4)decided to go out for our tea and thought of The Highfield. Having been numerous times before we knew what we would be getting , and, again, we were not let down, as the food was delicious and service very good.

The food is a definate improvement.
The majority of the staff are good. But when you see the one off duty playing pool or sat outside using the F word more than I care to hear (female) it spoils the night.

We used a Groupon coupon and expected slightly less of a meal than if we had walked in . However we were pleasantly surprised , lots of food , well cooked and presented by delightful staff . Would definitely go again .

I had a decent offer via e-mail and decided to check out the menu which we found full of good choices at good value. Our meals were very tasty, and we enjoyed the Taylor's Landlord beer which was on cask.

BREAKFAST WITH SANTA
What a magical morning! The staff have pulled out all the stops for the children today! From colouring in to decorating their own gingerbread trees. Santa sat at the head of the table to eat breakfast with the children then they all sat and listened to a story with the big man! Each child received a gift and a personalised photo bauble. Not forgetting the kitchen staff who cooked for 26 kids and then had to deal with adult breakfasts. Well done to all concerned you're a credit to your company!
