We booked for Mother’s Day and the Highfield didn’t disappoint! We have our main meal for free - mums treat and also a card for each mum with a little goodie bag �

Excellent customer service. Manager contacted me 2 hours prior to our meal booked to explain that they had a problem with the gas getting through to the grill. Because our party was over 20 people they had asked for us to pre order. Many of us had choosen steak, which now was not on the menu. On arrival the manger offered first round of drinks on them, because of the inconvenience. Then came the best news they had the gas working and we was able to go back to our original choices. All the staff were amazing, seemed they was really making an effort with everyone. Didn’t stop racing around. Thank you so much, the food was great too.
Lovely lunch on Tuesday. Plus added bonus of 40% off voucher. I had salmon. It was just delicious and hubby had mixed grill. Excellent service too
Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Food was great. We had a rump steak and a sirloin steak: both were tender and tasty (just that the one we ordered well done was medium, and the one we ordered medium was medium-rare).
This was my first visit, I was made very welcome by the staff.
During my visit I chose a meal from the menu which arrived shortly after and I was not disappointed 🙂

We booked a table for 8 for a family birthday, the booking process was easy and Chris confirmed our table would be ready for our arrival. The ladies were especially helpful with regards to the offers for the children’s meals, food was spot on arrived swiftly and had no complaints Jess looked after our table the whole evening and was great. Will be back soon.
BREAKFAST WITH SANTA
What a magical morning! The staff have pulled out all the stops for the children today! From colouring in to decorating their own gingerbread trees. Santa sat at the head of the table to eat breakfast with the children then they all sat and listened to a story with the big man! Each child received a gift and a personalised photo bauble. Not forgetting the kitchen staff who cooked for 26 kids and then had to deal with adult breakfasts. Well done to all concerned you're a credit to your company!
Really friendly place to go for a drink and a nice meal. Food is great, not too expensive, staff are really friendly and chatty. Definitely my local for going for some nice food and a drink
We used a Groupon coupon and expected slightly less of a meal than if we had walked in . However we were pleasantly surprised , lots of food , well cooked and presented by delightful staff . Would definitely go again .
We(as a family of 4)decided to go out for our tea and thought of The Highfield. Having been numerous times before we knew what we would be getting , and, again, we were not let down, as the food was delicious and service very good.
Awesome food served here. Three happy customers who all ordered roast dinner. Everyrhing was great. 1x beef and 1x chicken. Had robinsons mint cordial and that should have been made stronger or with lemonade but other than that everything was perfect.
The food is a definate improvement.
The majority of the staff are good. But when you see the one off duty playing pool or sat outside using the F word more than I care to hear (female) it spoils the night.
