Last Night 22.10.2023 My daughter and I ordered our first takeaway from here. It was more of a test to see if her local takeaway was any good. We were very pleasantly surprised! I have had quite a few Chinese takeaways so know what I like and what tastes good. The delivery guy was lovely and friendly. Our meals arrived lovely and hot (to be fair my daughter lives close by). We ordered Chicken Satay Chow Mein and Stir Fry Vegetables in Oyster Sauce. The flavours were beautiful! We ordered spring rolls which came in a lovely box with a sweet and sour dip, they were not greasy and were crisp and flavoursome, the egg fried rice wasn't greasy either and had a really lovely taste. The salt and pepper chips were outstanding! She is so pleased to have found this little gem!! I'm not sure our waistlines will agree but hey ho! I can highly recommend Mai Hing with complete confidence!

I absolutely love this restaurant! I order from here all the time, they even rang me when they saw my address was wrong. The lady on the phone is always so polite and lovely! You get loads for your money it's great prices not a rip off at all! Thank you!!!

The food here was flavoursome unlike some local rivals who's food tastes bland in comparison. The dishes are generous portion wise with plenty of meat rather than the usual veg fill that seems to happen a lot nowdays. I had the jumbo special in hoi sin sauce wth was packed with meat and flavours. I can't comment on the rice but I've heard it's a bit al dente and not to everyones taste.

Used Mai Hing for the first time last weekend. The menu is extensive compared to other local Chinese takeaways - so many veggie-friendly options! Had to try the salt & pepper tofu and I wasn't disappointed at all -really flavoursome, as were all the dishes we ordered. Huge portion sizes - the rice dishes come in big circular tubs, yet aren't expensive at all (same price as most places, around £5). The only downside was that I had to wait an hour and twenty mins for delivery to Brimington, though I did order on a Saturday, so I imagine it'd have been busy. Will order regularly from here now.

EUsed this chinese for years, many changes in its time, it went downhill but iam glad to say its back better than ever, had a fair few chineses over the ladt few months, all been good, nice fresh king prawns, meat and vegatables, not to salty neither. A recomendation to tbe owners, the combination starter for 2 person, change the 2 small spring rolls to a full size normal spring roll, more seaweed as there is just enough for 1 person, sauce for chicken satay, rib and prawn tosdt was lovely. Also it needs more sauces, 1 pot per person, let the customer choose there flavour sauce say, 1 peking, 1 sweet n sour. Enjoyed our meal again, thank you team Mia Hing
