Cold Stone Creamery

Ordered a Cake on Thursday for a Noon pick up on Saturday. Walked up at 12:05 and doors were still locked. I pounded on the door and she finally came to unlock for me only to hear the radio blaring in the shop. I told her I was there to pick up an order. When I gave her my order the girl stared like she didn’t know what I was talking about. She went to the back to look and come back to stay it wasn’t completed and be about 20 minutes more. She was there since 10am and had not caught up yet. NOT Happy! I left and sat in my car waiting for it to be finished. After 20 minutes I go back and they had not even used the birthday message I requested. Why? Because she was in a hurry to get the cake done now because it was suppose to be ready at Noon. I can see the ice cream underneath the frosting. I can say that the staff isn’t the staff that once was. I understand businesses are understaffed. Don’t get me wrong, but when I’m paying $40 for a ice cream cake, it better be decorated professionally not like a little kid wrote it or decorated it. Very disappointed. I may started driving the extra miles and go to the Cold Stone at 23 and Schoenherr. At least there I know I’m getting what I paid for there.

I’ve been here 3 or 4 times and every time has been terrible. The staff adding random stuff to their signature items when they don’t belong, missing items ect. This last time I tried to do a fool proof option, I ordered a gallon of 1 flavor and a single mix in so they couldn’t possibly mess it up for myself and family, and you know what happened? I take it home and the first scoop has a long blonde hair intertwined in it, definitely not mine! I give up, won’t be returning- how can you possibly get a hair inside ice cream?!

I've been coming to this location my whole life and have been very upset the last few times. I showed up at 9:52pm, knowing the employees were going to give me a hard time but I proceeded anyways, because well.... THE HOURS SAY THEY ARE OPEN UNTIL 10:00pm. Anyways, I walk in and all three girls gave me the dirtiest look and proceeded to ask if I had a door dash order. I said no and they immediately told me they cannot serve me LOL. The "supervisor" said they are "doing this thing where they close at 9:40pm so they can leave right on time" and kept telling me I had to leave. At this point, I didn't even want an ice cream, I just wanted to get my point across, so I stood in line. The girls kept shaking their heads and straight up ignoring me... honestly so rude. The really professional "supervisor" said to me: "if Its really that big of a deal, I'll make you your icecream... but just to let you know we can't serve you next time if Its before 9:40". I went on and reminded them that 1.) their website and google hours state otherwise and 2.) their door was still OPEN. All in all, I will NOT be back. I will be speaking to a real manager tomorrow and I HIGHLY suggest spending your money somewhere else.

Went in For ice cream today and I must say the wait was ridiculous and they had 5 people working ..so no excuse ..but this is my first time back in a long while and the ice cream is not the same!!! It not bad tasting but the recipes is just different from how they used to make it…definitely not worth the expensive price they charge..so will be going elsewhere …

Understaffed. Waited over an hour. 3 total behind the counter, only 1 was wearing gloves THE ENTIRE TIME. Never saw anyone wash their hands and the person wearing gloves kept going to the back on her phone without changing gloves. Rags all over the floor. Also there seemed to not be a manager or supervisor and the 3 employees all looked underage. Not age shaming just thought it would be cleaner and more organize with a little supervision.
