Sugar Shack Donuts

I frequent this location often because it’s on my way to work. But lately 9/10 times it’s a disappointment. My last visit they only had skim milk and half and half. So not latte for me that day, as I don’t drink milk. Today they had oat milk. And I had been craving an iced orange mocha latte for days. Had it numerous times, it’s almost an ombré drink when made properly. What I was given was an iced orange latte with melted ice, which is weird cause I waited for the drink, I didn’t order ahead. I asked for more mocha and watched her add two drops of syrup because apparently they were running out of mocha syrup. Shocker. Did you just not feel like going to replenish the syrup or were you actually out? Which it would have been better to just say we’re out of stock. Management has work to do at this location, Sugar Shack is better than this.

We have a pizza desert in Bon air. There's the standard delivery, and then a couple of Italian places that offer substandard pie, then there's Tazza kitchen which kicks it up along with galley to go where you can find excellent pizza as well. In League with Tazza and Galley is Green Ghost Pizza, which I find to have an excellent crust with just a little pull with the crunch, although on the pizza I received today it could have been cooked a little bit more. I don't mind a few burnt bubbles on the crust that lends that little bit of bitterness. Nonetheless this was an excellent pizza and I look forward to trying their other creations, or another of my own. The garlic knots were very good, but lacked seasoning and garlic flavor. The aroma of garlic was there, but the flavor was lacking along with the seasoning. But I have to say it seems like they're utilizing donut pastry for the garlic knots which gives them a really nice crunchy texture. If more garlic and olive oil and a little salt is present next time I could find myself addicted to these. Definitely suggest you give them a try. Service was friendly and fast and it was a pleasurable experience overall

Thought I'd give them another shot. Never been to this particular store though. Either they forgot an ingredient or the Oreo frapp is just cookies, ice and water. Weird and not good. Had another drink that was good but there was a big rubber band at the bottom. So that was a little gross too. Red velvet donut was pretty good. Best donut I've ever had from SS. I'm a little hesitant to return though. Kudos to the employees for being fast and friendly during rushes.

Summary: Extremely friendly service and great food. Extended version: I have been having a really rough past few weeks, slipping in and out of a depressive episode. I genuinely want to say thank you to the staff at Sugar Shack & Luther Burger that worked today (06/05). This was my first time ordering at this restaurant and they were exceptionally patient as I browsed the different menu items listed. One woman (I am SO sorry I didn’t ask for your name - I usually do, I’m just in a weird funk) who took my order was very helpful and enjoyable to talk to as she explained a few things on the menu I had questions about. She had brunette hair, a great smile and a positive demeanor. So thank you! All of you were a bright shining star during these difficult times. I appreciate you! …also they had great food, lol.
