Nice, friendly and helpful. We visited for Sunday lunch. Great selection of vegetables (not overcooked) and cauliflower cheese as a side. We've visited, on and off, for over 30 years. We will be back!!
Back again. Still really friendly and quite busy for a midweek lunchtime.

Went for a walk. Got hungry. Searched for nearest pub. Found this place. Wonderful. Lovely outside garden. Calm. Great food. I mean *great* food. Even with a fair few people there, it wasn't too crowded, and the other dishes seen as I popped to the loo, looked pretty good too.
Definitely a place to go back to next time we're around.

Came with my dad one evening on a walk. Only had cheesy chips so can't comment too much on the food, but the beer was good! Full of locals it seemed, which gave it a nice atmosphere!

We visited this pub today for lunch , it was a beautiful day so we sat in the garden .It was our first trip out with our new baby grandson , our daughters and son in law . The food was absolutely lovely and you couldn’t fault it , some of the staff however need lessons in how to talk to customers, the lady who took the food was very abrupt and when my son in law went to pay he was told “ we don’t take American Express ,” could have been said in a much nicer manner .

Had a nice Saturday early evening meal of Haddock and chips which was very nice. Staff attentive and friendly. Would certainly come back again. Prices to be expected at a country pub. Nice atmosphere
