We had a truly excellent meal here. The whole dining experience was great from the moment we entered the deceptively spacious restaurant. We were greeted by friendly staff who were attentive throughout the evening. They were very accommodating and made meat curries without meat and with paneer instead. The food itself was well presented, plentiful and absolutely delicious. They was a good vegetarian choice too. There were old favourites and some restaurant specialties. We were given a complimentary baileys at the end of our meal. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.

Found this to be a really good curry house. Had my usual Jalfrezi and other half had veg Dhansak. Both were really good and the naan was like a proper Indian naan, not a huge great big thing so many others do. Fully recommend. We also had excellent service and a very informative waiter.

Don't be put-off by the looks, its a great curry, and somewhat cheaper that the next door but one Indian. My guest raved about the meal. Nuff said.

Best Indian food in Chichester! We love our weekly deliveries from India Gate and we recently visited the restaurant with our family, which took our love for the food to a whole new level. You simply cannot beat it; fresh out of the kitchen, perfectly cooked, moist meat and full of flavour. It was divine! The Cobra beer on draught was also perfectly chilled and gassed; best pint of Cobra I’ve ever had! All the staff are lovely and very hospitable. I recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

Got takeout yesterday, first time visiting and the waiters were so kind and gave us free poppadoms which was a lovely surprise. We'll definitely be coming back next time we're in Chichester!

We returned to India Gate on Sunday after going on Saturday. The food was even better and great service,, highly recommended.NIZAMI KATHI KEBAB, the best starter I have had at an Indian Restaurant. Our children loved their food as well, cracking Pasandas. 11 out of 10 my friends.
