Lime Squeezy - Chichester

UPDATE: LIME SQUEEZY dropped their new menu. I still order the fish almost everytime I go there. Wanted to try one of their new dishes but it was not available. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Lime Squeezy is fairly new in Chichester and their food is great. Chicken satays were tender and juicy, wonderfully seasoned and the sauce was amazing. Garlic peppery pork belly, a little bit fatty for my liking. The large portion is just right for its price. Papaya salad, i wanted it a bit more sour. It was on the sweet side, the spice was there and i could taste the fish sauce. Still, I enjoyed it ☺️ Squid was very tender, batter was light and it was crunchy. I think a sauce on the side would be nice to dip them into. The ambiance was very lovely. Sturdy chairs and tables haha (quite heavy when we were moving the benches — but its all good) Well lit and servers were very attentive and attended to us right away. They accept credit cards and there is a loo. 🙂

Partner and I travelled in to Chichester from a nearby chalet park for dinner…we were originally heading to ASK Italian, but then passed Lime Squeezy and liked the look of the menu so thought we’d give it a go. We’re very glad we did! Food was hot and tasty, staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself had a lovely relaxed vibe. Our bill was very reasonable given what we ordered. Highly recommend the duck gyoza and the mochi. My partner LOVED his Balinese chicken curry (I tried the sauce and it was delicious). I opted for the Laksa curry and whilst I didn’t hate it, I found it a little too spicy for my liking. The menu described it as ‘slightly spicy’ but the with fresh chillis AND lots of chilli oil, I unfortunately could only finish half of the dish. Despite this I would still highly recommend Lime Squeezy! If I didn’t live 184 miles away I would be back in a flash to try some other dishes…but maybe if I’m up that way again? 😁
