Attended yesterday evening. Had a great 3 course meal & rosè wine which has been recommended. Really enjoyed the meal, the atmosphere & the staff were great. Highly recommend!
Loved visiting the King Will. Prices very reasonable on the fixed price menu. Two courses £12.95 and 3 courses £15.95 - food top quality and delicious. Especially the Lobster & Crab Fish Cakes & Home Baked Triple Chocolate Cookie with double chocolate ice cream (other flavours). Lovely comfortable seating inside and out. Will hopefully visit again.

Friday night wanting a chilled, casual place with good food for dinner- this met all our requirements and went beyond expectations! Every dish we had from the lamb koftas, deep fried Brie to rack of lamb and fillet steak was delicious- the sauces made the dishes. The only downfall was the slow service but given it was quite late it was understandable. Great local pub!
Fantastic little place, the staff are warm and inviting, the eclectic art and decor top notch, the little twists on mundane recipes executed well, the food was delicious.

Such an amazing place great food, great atmosphere, service second to none!!! Zachariah was an amazing host, very attentive, and knowledgeable. Would definitely return without hesitation.....someone give that man a raise...made us feel so welcome!!!

Nice place to go for a lunch or a drink, food was good if not a touch expensive. I felt for the staff who were clearly rushed off their feet as the place did seem understaffed for the number of customers they had coming through the door. Female waitress was incredibly helpful and friendly, chap working behind the bar gave the impression he didn’t really want to be there. If you don’t mind waiting the food was enjoyable!
We had the roast which was superb. The drinks and wine list was very reasonably priced as was the food menu. I think it was Alan that served us (lost the bill so can't check), he was very helpful and attentive to our needs. Will defo come back.
This restaurant is amazing, the decor, layout are lovely but the food is exceptional. It was the best roast lunch we have had and we have been to a number of places but this by far is the best. The lady serving was great and the gentleman that brought the food to us was really friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to everyone as the food is great but the staff are great also. What an experience I had here the other day. I came in with a group of 15 and I must say the King Will did not disappoint! The food was incredible, literally could not stop ordering food it was so good! Big big compliments to the head chef 👏 let’s not forget Eddie and Kacie too! They made us feel so extremely welcome. Kacie served us the whole day she was extremely attentive and always had a smile on! I definitely would return thanks to these two!
Booked a table for a group for Sunday lunch, really easy to do online and the text reminder was very useful. We had a vegan, two veggies and three meat eaters and everyone had a delicious meal - they even had a vegan menu! Great selection of mocktails for the drivers too. The service from Alan, 'O' and the smiley lady with lovely braids (sorry I didn't catch her name!) was super friendly and welcoming, despite what was evidently a very busy day. Will definitely be back!
Lovely food and drinks. Joanne our waitress was lovely and helped with any questions we had about the menu. Chris brought our food over with a smile and made sure we had everything we ordered. All the staff we met were friendly.
We came here for dinner and were very impressed by both the food and the service. Our evening was made even better by our waitress Alex who was both enthusiastic and attentive for the entirety of our meal.

Just returned from dinner with my daughter tonight, our waiter Dani was really lovely, friendly and funny, helpful and very caring, he made sure we had everything we need it. It was a nice and friendly environment. The food was nice as well at reasonable price. Will be visiting soon. Would definitely recommend. Special thank you to Dani. Keep smiling.
We live locally and try and go whenever we cab. We went there twice in the last week and both times we were served by Ruby. It is very rare nowadays to get such a great service and we got on both visit Michelin star service. Food is very good, especially the Sunday roast it is amazing value for money. Great place
Had a wonderful time here for my Mums 70th Birthday Meal. It was the first time comimg here and i would love to come back. The staff were attentive and hard working especially the lovely Joanne who made sure we had everything we needed and was so polite. Thanks Joanne :) Food portions were huge and delicious !!!

We had bread and olives as a starter, and half of chicken with gravy and rack of lamb as mains. Both meals were so delicious!!! We also had halloumi fries - it’s a must! Sooo good!

Went with my friends for dinner on a Friday evening. Welcoming entrance, Alen was our server for the evening and he was friendly and made us all feel comfortable. He was knowledgeable about the wines, we had the French Sauvignon with his recommendation and it was perfect.
Starter was a sharing dish and was enough for us all, everything was eaten.
For my main, I ordered a fillet steak served medium rare, it was cooked exactly how I like it, no chewy bits at all. All the side dishes complimented it wonderfully and were cooked perfectly too. My sister also thoroughly enjoyed her steak, one friend ordered seafood pasta but found the chorizo a little overpowering for the dish. My other friend ordered sea bass and she said it was cooked to perfection.
For desserts we ordered two pavlova’s and two sticky toffee puddings. They were delicious also.
Overall the eating and customer experience was exactly what you want with a bunch of friends. Good food and good service. As you can see, I would definitely recommend! It can be a little overwhelming out there as this part of Essex has so many eateries however most do not serve the best quality or well cooked food.
Been here a few times, we went on a Tuesday evening and were served by Noah who was brilliant, friendly and gave excellent service. Food is good although the menu could have more options. Lovely ambience.
My friends and I visited this place for the very first time earlier today, we found the atmosphere was wonderful and the staff very friendly. I look forward to visiting this establishment again in the very near future.
