Had a lovely lunch today, we both had a BLT and it was nice to have decent bacon instead of streaky bacon. We also decided to try the Bailey's chocolate cheesecake, that was also really good. I've seen some bad reviews but we both thought it was really good.
Went in today for a Sunday roast, food was excellent and a great friendly service, I would highly recommend going and trying for yourself. Lots of room indoors and a lovely area outside.
First time visiting here. Service was quick staff were friendly. Went on a Sunday so had the Carvery. Portions were ample and allowed to have a variety of meats. Food was delicious and loved the home made gravy from stock. I'd advise to book ahead as it can get very busy.
Went for a lovely lunch with the family and have to say it's a lovely pub with friendly staff and the food was superb.
Great variety of food, catering for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free.
Lovely choice of puddings too with a great selection of ice-creams.

Very impressed with the standard of food. I ordered the belly pork on the specials menu and it was packed with flavour and cooked perfectly.
The Carpenters hosted our wedding meal in the conservatory. Nothing was too much trouble,from the food to ensuring the set up looked perfect! Prawn cocktail or Pate starter.Roast beef or Turkey for the mains ,with roasted parsnips & carrots, mashed swede,cauliflower cheese,tenderstem brocoli, roasted potatoes and huge Yorkshire puddings....the food was presented beautifully ,tasted amazing and so much of it! All the staff were so attentive, happy and polite. We couldn't have wished for a better day!!
Would highly recommend. We've been here a few times now and every time we've been greeted by friendly staff and amazing food.
We've had various things off their menu but would suggest you give the carvery a go.
We've never been disappointed and will 100% be going back!!

Wow what a lovely experience I had last night can not recommend this place enough for somewhere to eat,so clean staff really helpful and friendly as for the food this has to be up there with the best in the area.
We went on a Wednesday when they have a half price menu I really can't recommend this pub enough.

Call in for a Sunday Carvery and Yes the meal was nice, but I like my veg cooked a bit more.
Came here for a family meal. Parking available, very friendly and helpful staff. I recommend the Sirloin Steak, its the best steak I've ever eaten. Seasoned very well, full of flavour.
Since the pub has changed ownership (Late 2019)
The staff are incredibly friendly and the Food that 'Michael' (Chef) made was absolutely incredible. The menu was big enough to provide flexbility (Mrs is a veggie)but the quality was still superb.
For fantastic pub grub, with large portions and a very fair price, this is the best around. They couldn't do enough for us and we will be coming back.
