L'artista

There is a reason why we consider L`Artista in Chingford one of the best Italian restaurant in east London. This isn't your average Italian restaurant. I leaved in Milan for some years and i can tell a proper Italian menu when i see one and this definitely is. Their thin noodle with fresh crab starter is the best in London. Since Christmas we have been there three times and always think how lucky we are to have such a good restaurant within reasonable distance. As you can tell all our family and friends love this restaurant.

As my wife & I found ourselves 'children-free' last Christmas - we decided to treat ourselves to Christmas Day lunch. We chose L'Artista at Chingford - and treat ourselves, we certainly did. For the quality of food and service - the fixed price held up well enough especially the not over-energetic Italian service which was extremely attentive without being over the top. The four courses were of high quality in taste and cooking. We were guided and chose well from a selective wine list and left (later than planned) feeling in full festive mood. L'Artista is a true Italian restaurant and we'll certainly be returning in the not-too-distant future.
