The Pheasant Carvery - Chippenham - Photo album

A party of 4 (plus a dog), 2 of us had large carvery, one had small carvery and one had chicken burger with a side of onion rings, and we shared some starters. All of the food was outstanding. (Try the black pudding, divine). The service was excellent and each staff member was polite and friendly. P
Our favourite place to come for a carvery as a family of 6. Nowhere else compares to the pheasant. The food is always so delicious and cooked well. Staff are really friendly and always check how the food is and if they can get you anything. Highly recommended if you're looking for a good roast. Howe
After visiting a garden centre nearby, we were looking for a place for Sunday lunch. My partner found The Pheasant, so we decided to give it a go. We hadn't booked but were lucky to get a table. The carvery was excellent, even though it was quite busy the queue was small. All the food was lovely and
Great pub in Chippenham, attracting a complete range of ages. My visit here is usually to catch up with colleagues after work for a drink, half of the venue is just a drinks bar with a range of seating. The other half is for the carvery/restaurant. Full bar on offer, a range of lagers, ales, ciders
The carvery was lovely, the only slight criticism was the meat was cut in big chunks and would have been improved by being sliced thinner ! Having said that, it was tasty and succulent. The veg was plentiful and a very good selection and the gravy, to die for ! The pudding we had was the sticky toff
The staff are always amazing and helpful and polite. The food is always lovely we have been a fair few times and we have never had a bad meal. I'm disabled and they are also there to help if I need it .
Just popped in here with my Running Club Les croupiers in Cardiff. The food was excellent and the service was also brilliant. Special mention to Melissa who was a lovely lady who put up with us all and the service was second. I highly recommend this Pub please support this local Charity and give Mel
We went for a Xmas family dinner with over 20 people, I used crutches instead if my wheelchair. There were lots of other wheelchair users, but the disabled parking spaces were taken up. Kids really enjoyed the meal and especially the puddings. There was plenty of space for us to watch the world cup
Came for a Sunday lunch and it was lovely! The food was hot! Not warm like some other carverys. The meat was flavoursome and the best thing is all the food is local produce and you can taste the difference. I'm gluten free and the only reason I gave 4 stars is because they didn't have gf Yorkshire p
Always a good service staff are kind and helpful. The food is also amazing I did intend on the carvery but I didn't release it didn't start till 5.30 so will intend on making the booking for a bit later next time .. the stake was nice but i think some veg should be added to the dish .. my little on
Great, friendly customer service especially as my son has lots of allergies and the restaurant was extremely busy. Great choice of food on the carvery and all hot. Only reason for not giving 5 stars was that the beef was quite dry and overcooked...we got the last few slices off the end piece...and t
The Pheasant is primarily a carvery. I've been a few times and generally it is a positive experience. This time was ok, but not fantastic. The food is tasty, well presented but the choice was quite limited. There may be a wider choice at the weekend but our visit was a Friday evening so we did expec
We love coming to the pheasant, always pleasant and always accommodating to my disability’s. Over all no complaints other than you can tell the roast potatoes are frozen ones but still enjoyable and the beef was amazing so thank you
Went for Sunday carvery.Couldn’t fault it. £12.50 for a large plate and help yourself.Good selection of meat and veg.Meat was a generous portion. Meat was not fatty and no wastage. Would definitely recommend.Only gripe was our table was next to carvery so a lot of traffic. This place gets busy and ha
Great self service roast - vegetarian option much appreciated - veg freshly cooked. Big queue on Sunday as this place is so popular! Tables need to be wiped down and cleaned between customers.
