Costa Coffee

I've been here twice now, the first occasion on my own was pretty busy but was still served and handed my drinks within a reasonable time considering the length of queue. Second was slightly quieter with my kids who loved having a staff member engage in conversation with them which doesn't happen in many places I find. Staff were on it when it came to cleaning and the different areas to work on when serving. Makes a difference when there's welcoming staff.

I occasionally come to costa and though I miss the previous decor of their interior (it felt more welcoming) they have a good atmosphere for people who are on the go, working or in small groups. I think my favourite thing about Costa is their staff and how friendly they are but also consider your comfort and safety seriously. Awhile ago last year I had an older man come up to me in the store to ask if I was here with my mother (I am a young adult, but I do look young) and I said no, not giving my age and he proceeded to hit on me when he realised I came alone..again assuming I was young enough to come with a parent? Very concerning and I was in shock. When the old man left to go back to his seat, I went up to the counter and told the manager what happened and the creepy old man was quickly banned from the shop and I was given a free drink to calm down with and they ensured I was safe and even offered to have a staff member partially walk me back. Costa staff really helped with my lack of faith in humanity over the pandemic. Honourable mention to the one sweet lady who always compliments me and my friends on our fashion choices, the staff are so sweet and have made my costa experiences amazing.
