The best food I have ever had in Chippenham.
My friend Danny is close to a successful spine removal surgery.
This was the best place to celebrate , food was exceptional.

Absolutely perfect! From the moment we walked in to the moment we left everything was outstanding. Couldn't fault anything. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, Coqtails were fantastic (highly recommend the hickory smoked old fashioned). Food, where to begin. I had the Korean BBQ burger, tender, juicy and crispy buttermilk chicken breast, big chunk of chargrilled pork and the sauce was on point. From one chef to another just want to say absolutely phenomenal. 10 out of 10. Definitely coming back and recommending to everybody.

This place rocks. They do serve asahi for Octoberfest which is a questionable choice but the food is excellent, the staff is nothing but friendly and Riesling was all right, too.

Had a young man called Will serve us today. Lovely charming chap. Recommended bang coq and it was amazing. Recommended a couple of drinks for me and my wife and I have to say this is a brilliant place
If only we had something like this in Cornwall. Exciting food and drinks and fun to be in. Great place to eat and drink with great lovely charming staff. Can't fault it.

First time there this evening and we are ready to return. Food was absolutely delicious and the truffle and parmesan fries were just a complete delight. Service was fast and the staff very friendly.
Only criticism - you might want to install a ceiling fan for the two weeks a year when we see the sun.

We always enjoy visiting the Coq Restaurant.... Best chicken burgers ever, paired with fab side dishes and some lovely cocktails.

Quite simply, they are the best burgers I've ever eaten. Three visits in, everything about this place oozes quality, love and care. From the welcome you get to the beautiful flavours, textures and all-around taste sensations of the burgers, it's always special. What an absolute gem of a restaurant!

Hilariously named, Coq is a hidden gem.
Towering burgers full of flavour and gorgeously thin and crispy fries. Every single bite we ate was brilliant, particularly the tiramisu!
The decor is very modern with a couple of tall shared tables. There aren't many seats and I'd recommend booking to avoid disappointment.
Seating is VERY cozy, you're so close to your neighbours that you could join their conversation like a little happy family. If that's not your thing I would suggest booking for an early dinner (you should still go, the food is worth it!)

Where to start! Honestly our favourite restaurant in Chippenham, or anywhere right now. Will and the team are fantastic at cooking up delicious food, cold beers, and always a great welcome! Take out or eat in, both are fantastic. Generous portions and great value. Cannot fault this place. Leave room for the tiramisu.
