We came following recommendation of owners of our cottage let. We had our 2 little kids with us and have to say was excellent. Food was delicious, kids portions were excellent value and we're eaten with zero complaints from 2 fussy kids.
The staff were friendly and welcoming and the pub had a great

We had an extremely warm, friendly and helpful greeting on arrival. Our room was lovely with a great view. It was so comfortable in the room as well as in the bar which had a welcoming roaring fire each day we were there. The staff were very friendly and efficient.
We were made to feel very welcome on arrival despite the pup being very busy. The dining area was cosy and comfortable and the food, service and expresso martinis were excellent. It was a great experience and we shall certainly come again. Thank you.
Hi, we visited on Sunday dinner, table of five. Roasts were lovely as it would be homemade. Deserts were lovely too. Staff were lovely and very polite. Place could do with a music but would not ruin the evening without. Maybe they should add service charge on the bill as we almost missed it as we ar
Booked in last minute for dinner as we were camping nearby to celebrate a family birthday. The service was excellent, all staff friendly and made us feel welcome, including our dog. The food was absolutely delicious and all four of us had perfect dinners and deserts. Thanks for making it a memora
Hadn't been here in many years. Came up from London to meet an old friend and we came for lunch on a lovely sunny day.
They've maintained the interior really well; it's so nice stepping into a pub of this age with the flagstone floor and old furniture.
The meal was very good and the service hospit

The team are great, Felicity is always great but when we visited on Thursday 5th, the 2 people who were helping gave really good service too and looked after us very well. Food was up to it's usual high standard and the pub is just a lovely place to be.

Beautiful pub, staff could have not been more accomodating - we had a lovely time! Food was delicious, location was perfect couldn't rate more highly.
This 16th century pub has been a treasured destination for years. It filled all my expectations of atmosphere and history. The food was excellent and the staff shouldn't have been more gracious. Kudos to Felicity, Tom and Mizzy. All the others whose names I never knew were also as gracious and effic
We went for drinks and it is without a doubt one of the most beautiful pubs in the area. We will be recommending our clients.

I’ve been coming to The Falkland Arms on and off for over 40 years and it pleasantly hasn’t changed (much). Please keep it so as like everything that isn’t broke it doesn’t need fixing. Food great, service great, beer fabulous, atmosphere and setting reliably unbeatable. Thank you.
Great pub food. Good choices on the menu.
Very dog friendly.
Lovely country pub with open fire.
Great choices of ales on the bar.
Would thoroughly recommend.
The Fawkland Arms is my favourite British pub! Service always impeccable, house wine absolutely delicious, brilliant food with good sized portions and such a cosy and characterful atmosphere. Thank you!
If a picture perfect traditional English pub on the edge of the Cotswolds is what you’re looking for, you’ve come to the right place.
Situated in Oxfordshire, if walking is your thing there are plenty of local walks around the Great Tew estate.
Easy reach to Chipping Norton, Blenheim Palace and Ox
A lovely old original English pub set in a stunning village location. I have known the pub for many years and was just a bit disappointed with our lunch. The wait for the main course seemed a bit long as they were not very busy and my quiche and salad was lacking flavour and imagination. The junior
First time at the pub and very impressed with staff, ambience and food. Took my elderly parents for lunch and they loved it as did I. We shall definitely be back
