Had lunch here, unfortunately they don't do a Sunday roast anymore and only do pizzas and burgers. The fries were surprisingly good, burger wad okay
After 48 years I returned here for lunch only to find it was ‘Thai Night’ and they weren’t doing lunch!
The decor has changed a great deal from the cosy, smoke filled spit ‘n’ sawdust, …
Nice looking pub, not sure I’ve seen such a limited menu though and no Sunday roast. Pints are expensive and food is decent but typical of a pub.
Had lovely lunch, service was quick and prompt, staffs were friendly, price was decent, environment and vibe was nice. Would visit again for sure.
First time back to the Ramblers Rest in 42 years.
Did not order food, but the beer was great.
Hope to return sooner than 42 years.
Came for a quick drink. Very large football following which was shown on the screens. Service was friendly but not a huge place so was a bit packed inside, lots of people drinking out the front. Service was friendly. Good choice of drinks. Reasonable prices.
