Bridges Fish And Chips

Had cod and portion of regular chips. Portion wise I found it to be very fair. More importantly the cod was not greasy, was firm and crunchy on the outside. I rarely eat chips when out as I grow potatoes locally…I was pleasantly surprised at the taste of the chips and the contrast of being crispy outside and fluffy in the centre. I will be visiting again. Recyclable packaging also used, and staff were professional. Think to make this place even more special some home made sauces/dips would be great! E.g. garlic and parsley, lemon, balsamic and olive oil, nduja…

We love bridges, the food is always fresh and the staff so friendly. We usually order cod and the portions are brilliant. The batter is always crispy even by the time I get home. My family and I visit at least a week as we can’t get enough. We have never had any issues with wait times and will continue to keep coming back. This is the best in the area!

I went to this Fish & Chip shop on the strong recommendation of a new neighbour, and all that he said if the shop was absolutely correct! I ordered two Cod & Chips and it was excellent, and not expensive in my view. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the pla e was immaculately clean. I will certainly be returning.
