Busy pub and restaurant, tucked away from the main road and away from Chistlehurst High Street. Lots of blokes having a lunchtime and afternoon pint, plus lots of friends and families having Sunday lunch. Nice spacious garden seating area. Sunday roast was delicious. Friendly staff.
Amazing pub - you can tell the difference when the food is cooked with care and attention. The seafood board that we ordered was delicious and fresh. Definitely will revisit the pub when we are back to the area
We went for Sunday Lunch on the off chance as we hadn't booked a table. But we were accomodated in the bar area and had a nice meal of roast beef and roast lamb. The portions were good and the food was served nice and hot. Not sure if the meat was freshly carved, but the Service was good and will book next time we visit.
Lovely pub though very quiet for a Fri night but it was nice to be able to talk without having to shout which was a bonus. Great food and lovely staff. Will definitely go back.
Great venue. Food and drink a little more expensive than some other pubs in the area but overall if the weather is good it's a lovely place to sit out in the beer garden
Wonderful pub hidden from view, a real gem of an establishment. I've been going here for 40 years, ever since I worked here as a potman, collecting glasses, filling the ice buckets and emptying the ashtrays.
It has grown a lot since then. Now has a top notch chef delivering fantastic food.

We had roast dinner with all trimmings it was lovely and tender,generous portions and verry tasty.
There desserts looked and tasted yummy to😋

We stopped there for lunch today. Very clean pub,excellent food great service & staff.
Food good and generous portions. Friendly staff. Was very loud but it was a Saturday so fair enough.
Nice day, sat in the garden, a couple of beers, and a well presented burger and chips. Just good, simple food done well and served with a smile.
