My husband and I visited smokies yesterday for the first time and thoroughly enjoy our meal. We had a 1-2 person sharing platter and a Tex Mex burger between us. The platter was plenty of food on its own but the Tex Mex burger just sounded too delicious to resist and we weren't wrong! The meat was melt in the mouth and so tasty. We upgraded our fries to burger fries which were amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere relaxed and informal. We will definitely be visiting again. There is also take away available which I will certainly be taking advantage of.
First visit....certainly won't be our last! Ordered the Couples sharing platter for a main and was going to order the Burnt Ends and Nachos for starters but advised by the server that the Nachos were massive and would probably be too much for the two of us so we skipped the nachos.Kudos for the honesty. The meat was awesome....melt in your mouth and so tasty....the table sauces accompanied it perfectly.
A couple of pints each of the draught beers were a perfect match for the food.
Lovely atmosphere, great beer, excellent food and friendly, helpful staff made it a lovely experience. 5 stars and can't wait to go back for more of the same! Thank You!

The food here is some of the best you can get in Chorley and the fries are some of the best I've ever had anywhere. Very satisfying portion sizes. If you're sat there thinking of booking a table or ordering out .. Do it. Treat yourself.
Good ambience, liked the theme of the restaurant, staff were knowledgeable, polite and efficient. Good range of food on the menu and it was all served really quickly without much of a wait between courses.
The prices are not cheap, but quite frankly you get what you pay for. Everything tasted handmade and of good quality and the portions are generous. There was not much vegetarian food on the menu, but I expected that, "smokies" naturally infers BBQ and meats. I apprehensively chose the only non-meat main course which wasn't really that descriptive nor did it sound particularly appealing but I was pleasantly surprised.
My husband was impressed with his meat loving option and I enjoyed my wrap, I did experience a crunch midway through that I wasn't expecting and found some chips in it. I actually thought this was a really good touch, as it contrasted with the texture of the wrap and rest of the filling.
Fab churros too 😊 would recommend.
My boyfriend and I went to Smokies BBQ this afternoon, we didn't book but luckily the was a free table. The front of house team are fantastic, the food was excellent we throughly enjoyed everything. You can tell everything is made in house 🤤 the atmosphere is lovely and tells you the story of Smokies. Highly recommend you go here,we will definitely be back very soon.
Absolutely loved it. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Definitely worth booking a table especially if you're going at the weekends. It's not an extensive menu, but there's so much meat. I would definitely recommend this place. Family friendly too and there's things on the menu for most. Plus the friendly staff are more than happy to ensure your order is cooked to your requirement

Firstly, and I can’t understate this…. The Food was really good!
The only issue really was that you buy everything individually. So my smokie stack burger was £14. Then you have to purchase dirty chips separately £6. So for burger and chips £21 , which now makes it expensive. Add a drink on top and a side your looking at £30 per person for one course. Also no children’s menu. I spent £60. No starters or deserts and soft drinks. Realistically if your going out your going to be spending average £100 plus for the full experience for 2. A bit much I think, given I can go for a really good pub grub meal burger, fries and slaw and a nice pint with two adults and one child ( thanks to the kids menu) with either starters or desert for approx £60.
Atmosphere was not so great, we sat in the front so with all of those people coming in for their takeaway, And staff stood around chatting, we felt a bit in the way. This may have been a better atmosphere had we been allocated seating elsewhere.
Service was, take your order, bring your food. Nothing to write home about, but didn’t help where we were sat as explained earlier.
Ow and the table was unstable as well. Had one of those bitty clenching moments when the table nearly collapsed with all the drinks on it, because the edge was lent on.
Final note…. This would prob be a really good takeaway for those special occasions.
Final final note…. The food really was very very good, so much of the above can be forgiven because of the food experience, we left full.
Tip….. order one lot of fries to share. You won’t need one each, they will just go to waste.
Great little place. The food is really good, chicken wings and ribs to start were amazing and standard burger with brisket was also really good, the guest ale on tap was from Newcastle brewery and was soooo good. Atmosphere good and staff really friendly.
Last minute decision to make the pilgrimage here for tea with a friend. First visited smokies years ago when they were in darwen and it was delicious then. Now it's even more delicious. If your a carnivore this is a place you NEED to visit
Absolute banger for meat lovers. Visited here last week and went for a sharer platter with a mate and would highly recommend. We'll definitely be going back again
