Been here a few times and never been disappointed. I usually get meat and potato but tried the steak one the other day and it was amazing! The steak must be slow cooked or something, it just falls apart on your mouth. Great place to grab a quick easy lunch and the prices are worth it for the quality

Stop here if I can park my truck outside as the pies here are fantastic!!!!.. Bakewell slice is excellent too.. Great pie shop.. shame I can't park there more often...

I tried Meat and Potato Pies and they were delicious so then ordered the Steak Pies with chunky steak and gravy. They too are really good and I would recommend them to anyone. I must add that the pastry too matches the quality of the contents.

I cannot recommend this store enough!! Always fresh, tasty, piping hot pies available- highly recommend the whist pies!! Quality of food way above any other in the area!! Don't forget the second shop in Chorley as well!

Not only excellent and tasty pies but first class customer service too. A delivery issue was immediately resolved with a phone call. Home delivery in chilled packaging allows you to buy more - what could be better! Thank you.

I've been stuck in Germany for over three months due to this virus, and, as a Wiganer, craving pies for most of that time. Fortunately, Bowens were able to help out, and I got eight potato and meat pies delivered yesterday. They arrived in excellent condition (still some ice in the ice packs, despite it being 28° outside), and they taste great! I'd never had them before, but I'll be making a trip to Adlington when I finally get back home. 😎

Brilliant pies when you can takeaway. Also brilliant in the current circumstances when you can have them delivered. Steak puddings, chunky steak pies, pork pies and pork & black pudding are my favourites. They do various others and sausage rolls as well.

Absolutely perfect! Packaged professionally for fresh delivery, couldn't ask for better service as it comes in a cool box with ice packs.
Flavours are magical in the pies and the favourites are for sure the butter pie or the chunky steak. By far the best steak I have ever had in a pie!

Had our first Bowen pies today, what can I say ? I'll tell you this, they are the future 😁 great pies, generous filling & delivered in chilled containers direct to your door, what's not to like, definitely be ordering more.
