Beautiful restaurant in a picturesque setting. We did not have a reservation but managed to get a table after showing up for a birthday brunch. As a life long vegetarian I have never experienced a full vegan/vegetarian restaurant in Lancashire so this place from opening was always in my wish list. It did not disappoint. Service was fantastic, fantastic choice and the food 10/10! The soup of the day, carrot & cauliflower, was delicious. My 8 year old fussy eater had a try and cleared the bowl. Hallumi burger was a burst of flavour with the added sweetness from a dollop of hummus wrapped in a brioche bun with salad. Ice cream was delightful to finish off with. We were too full to try more but the cake display looked great and certainly gives me more reason to return and try those. I had one small gripe which was the parking, the car park was completely full and same on the street outside. We were forced to park quiet a distance away and disappointed that no designated disabled parking was available in the car park. Hopefully they address this in the near future.
We enjoyed a nice afternoon tea and then took a nice walk around after the rain let up. There is a lovely and peaceful view from the back of the restaurant. The food was nice. We enjoyed the soup.
Our first visit following an afternoon walk along the canal.
A good spot to stop off for a drink or an ice cream.
They also serve a vegan menu.
We just had a coffee sat outside on the terrace.
Beautiful views from the outside, especially on a sunny day.
Went here for breakfast. We enjoyed our really tasty food, in beautiful surroundings. The service was quick, but we weren't rushed at all. The staff were helpful and happy. A lovely experience with great company. What more could I want 😊😊
Just had a delicious 3 course lunch for hubby's birthday. Food amazing, perfect service and beautiful countryside views. Have also been in the past for afternoon tea which was superb. Would highly recommend even for people who are not plant based!
A favourite for years, delicious, nutritious and creatively delivered food.
Lovely atmosphere and view, friendly, courteous and efficient staff. We are always welcomed and blessed!
Homemade Brownie- one of the best my US partner ‘has ever had’… praise indeed from this native Brownie fan.
Absolutely stunning in every way.
The location is beautiful followed with friendly staff and amazing food.
This place is a must for all
We will most definitely be returning
My husbands only negative is the car park is too small. Be prepared to park on the roadside.
We found this while doing a search of vegan places to eat. Online booking is available and recommend at the weekend. When we arrived at 12pm the restaurant was quiet. We got a seat buy the windows which provide a view across the trees and hills. Due to this being a celebration, we opted for the three course meal, I have soup, burger and sticky toffee pudding. The food was great, nice selection of food. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. I was disappointed at the 50p charge for plant milk when having a coffee. We will definitely be visiting again. The restaurant got busier as the afternoon went nearly all the tables were full so definitely book.
Fantastic location with beautiful views.
Veggie and vegan food is delicious.
Spa attached too.
Outstanding cafe. Brilliant food for anyone, and excellent staff with fast service. Certainly one the best cafe builds in the entire UK. Huge panoramic views of the amazing sweeping countryside of the west Pennines. Great car park for any cars, albeit not huge.
