We were pleasantly surprised by Splinters! Decor-wise, it does feel a bit like a dentists waiting area or someone’s musty living room, but once the room filled up a bit and the delicious food and wine came, it was an enjoyable experience.

Charming English restaurant in the centre of Christchurch. We were welcomed warmly and seated straight away in this quirky back-in-time restaurant. Great Chef, taste reflected presentation. Peaches roasted with Thyme was devine. Ate 3 courses and left comfortable having indulged a lot.
