After speaking to the staff at the Avon Causeway about a vegan option prior to going there this evening, I was made one deeeelicious vegan pizza! The chef at the Avon Causeway has outdone him or herself, especially as this was specially arranged. A soft, crisp yet chewy dough, spicy, flavoursome peppers, tomatoes, onions, herbs and flowers! My compliments and gratitude to the chef! The service was also fantastic. I will definitely go again! 😁🍕🌿 (just pretend the salami isn't on that emoji - there was nothing animal-based on the pizza. 😊)
What a find..... a great pub space - Wine choices were lovely, fires were extremely welcoming- it's dog friendly has several bar spaces to suit small crowds or those that want. Quiet pint- we were there for a murder mystery night in the old Pullman railway carriage and its was GREAT - food was lovely and HUGE portions. our room was cosy - newly refurbished it was perfect for our short stay - loved the soap and shampoo with ginseng - v nice staff were very friendly - breakfast was of a good quality with lots of choice - all the tea and coffee you can drink - the eggs benedict was lush... would love to know if you decide to have dog friendly rooms as we would love to come down with the pups
Had a super lovely time in this place. Room is cozy and very comfy and complete with everything we needed. Wonderful staff too, friendly and accommodating. The pub is rustic and quaint, such a nice feel about it, and food is great! Breakfast is divine! Will definitely come back here very soon. 😃
Stayed here with my wife and 2 of our friends and 2 dogs too. Absolutely loved it. Very nice pub with lots of railway memorabilia. Very helpful and friendly staff and it is very dog friendly, even came with a little doggy breakfast and a dog bowl in our rooms which was a nice touch. Lovely food too.
The view as you drive into the car park of the pub is stunning both at day and night and cannot recommend this place enough. I would definitely stay here again. Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend.
This is the second time I have visited The Avon Causeway for lunch - after a chance occasion about a month ago. It was such an excellent meal in convivial company with a well laid out restaurant and reasonable garden that I decided to return for a small celebration with a family member.
Again, the meal was excellent, the staff friendly, helpful without being too attentive and I would thoroughly recommend it.
Highly recommended, rooms clean and well represented.

We had a lovely Sunday roast. We stopped going to the Avon Causeway a couple of years ago, because of bad food and the service wasn’t good. But my friend said come back for lunch as it was lovely. The whole atmosphere had changed, very clean, food superb, staff very friendly. Thanks
Went for a birthday lunch with a 19 month old, baby had a slight wobble and nothing was too much trouble. We had a table by the doors which we could open onto the garden. Baby was brought a drink, crayons etc.
Onto the food! Fantastic 😍, everyone enjoyed their meals the puddings were beautiful. Could not fault will be going again soon.
Had a two night stay, short notice (family funeral) .
Had a really nice stay service and welcome was excellent, rooms could do with a wee bit of TLC but very comfortable and adequate. We dined there both nights which we all agreed was high quality fayre. Breakfast also was of high quality, We had to leave early(6.30) on second day, so they made up a breakfast bag for us, sparse,,one croissant, orange juice and an orange,, but welcome as they didn't have to supply it at all.
Overall a lovely stay, staff were all knowledgeable and very friendly. Next time will try the pullman restaurant carriage for dinner.

Enjoyed a lovely meal with my parents to celebrate some great news. Food was fantastic, service was pleasant and attentive.
Had a mix up paying the bill, but this was resolved quickly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend.
The food here is always good along with the service. We stayed over this time and the breakfast was also excellent. The rooms were clean although a little outdated and cold. You could easily hear both rooms either side of us and the road as well, so considering it is pretty expensive per night, I've gone for 4 star instead of 5.
Hotel was pretty much perfect for our needs. Lovely friendly atmosphere, staff can’t do enough for you and very dog friendly. Hugo our dog didn’t want to leave!
