We've been quite a few times now it is a really lovely pub, great service, good variety of drinks and the food is just brilliant, good portions, fresh, quick service, cooked perfectly.
Always excellent food. Much more than ordinary pub grub. Give it a try if you're in the area.
Went with my friend and her daughter for lunch and had a really tasty homemade beef burger with skinny fries and coleslaw. Prompt and friendly service and nice atmosphere - quite busy for a midweek lunchtime. Hoping to come soon for a Sunday lunch although they did warn us its best to book well in advance as they get very busy
Me and my partner have been to the Holly Bush a few times recently but only for a roast for the first time last week- wow, I don’t know if I’ve ever tasted better gravy! Generous portions, great value and friendly service. Mid week the sausage and mash (all homemade with ever changing flavours!) is a great choice, as is the crispy beef dish. So happy to have found such a great new local!
Great country pub. Went their first Sunday lunch. Food and service was excellent. Had the Pork roast which was delicious and the roasties were amazing. Treacle pudding was light fluffy and tasty. Decent pint of Guinness too which was creamy with strong coffee overtones and a hint of chocolate. Just a shame about noisy children but that’s not the pub’s fault. Would definitely go again
Only had a drink whilst checking the menu for a future meal. Looked very inviting and hope to book soon ................ Made it today, at last, for a lunch. We really enjoyed it. A great menu, good portions and very tasty. A pub feel but with a restaurant menu. Great service from a well co-ordinated and hard working young team. Best mushy peas I have ever had.
Amazing food! Both the stilton lasagne and Szechuan Beef were really good. Will definitely be back soon!
Our meal was very good in the bar areas, had our dogs with us without problems. Best to phone through to book ahead, for table space.

Stunning food and stunning service. Always satisfied and never disappointed whenever I visit. The young guy who sometimes works behind the bar is extremely sociable and is a great asset to the business, along with Mollie who is a pure delight!
