Amazing pub! Excellent food and value for money. The best buttermilk chicken burger in the UK!!! The steak pie was also yummy. Good selection on kids menu. Very friendly and professional staff. Good selection of local beer on tap. I wish they were closer to London. Will definitely visit again!
Me and my partner where staying in Church Stretton about a mile up the road. We decided to have another walk after scaling cardingmill valley. Worth the walk lovely atmosphere and great bar staff. Really good vibes and gorgeous views in the beer garden. We didn't stay for the food but it looked and sounded amazing.
Popped in for a bit of tea first expectations really easy to find, lots of parking and friendly staff. Sat down and ordered the bacon cheese burger and oh man it was so nice one of the best burgers I've had it was tender and juice with crispy chips couldn't ask for a better meal. For dessert I had a homemade chocolate brown with ice cream that was absolutely delicious 😋. Would highly recommend that you visit this little jem.
Absolutely amazing place. We're a family of 5 who has just completed a 3 hour walk through the near by hills and with 3 hungry children and a dog we needed somewhere close and dog friendly. The food was delicious and the service was first class. Very friendly and polite. Food came out fast. 5/5 for everything. Will definitely be returning.
We found this reviewed online and thought we would pop along to visit. The little one loved playing in the play area which was safe and enclosed. The outside tables were very well setup for outside dining. The staff were very friendly and the food was very enjoyable. We will definitely be back again soon.
During a long weekend away we by chance found this fabulous village pub/eatery. It was so good we visited twice. Great atmosphere with quick service. Staff were attentive and friendly on both occasions food was great plus very very dog friendly…
Sunday evening and no problem finding a table for dinner. Fast friendly service and lovely food. Good range of local ales. Parking can be difficult at busy times.
Stumbled on the pub by chance on a weekend away. Dog friendly, allergen aware, asked for gluten free and was no issues.
The food was amazing, hubby had a steak and I had a Cajun chicken burger with fries and homemade coleslaw, both meals were delicious. Lovely friendly staff and reasonably priced. Would definitely go back if in the area.
By far the best pint of Guinness I’ve ever had. Food is nice too 👍🏼
Lovely Shropshire pub serving great ales and wine. Very dog friendly and stocked with doggie ice cream.
Excellent beer garden with a play park for devil spawn! Full of character and quirkiness. Ab Fab 😎
