I really hope the owner appreciates the staff in this place because they really make this work! You can see how hard they all pull together for a service I was really surprised about! We were a clan of 6 and yet we were seated quickly in a lovely interior. The menu had a fair few veggie options which was great to see. Once the order was placed the drinks arrived quickly. It was a busy afternoon and I expected to wait for the food but it was out shortly after the drinks. Now that was a big surprise! Everyone tucked into their food with glee and even the food did not disappoint! It was luscious! The bill was easily paid at the hatch counter and it was the only thing that stung yet for the service and food, it was worth it. Hope you get the same great experience we did! ENJOY!!!

A very busy tearoom, about one of the only things to do in this place. Lovely staff, nice menu offering gluten free stones. Well behaved dogs welcome, good for a nice treat. Nice large teapot!

Had a lovely lunch with a toasted sandwich and the freshly made tomato basil soup! Friendly staff and great food. Worth a visit if you’re in the area for the castle

What a lovely Tea Rooms - we were given a wonderfully warm North East welcome - the service was quick - the staff friendly and the food was excellent - a Crab Sandwich for brunch is highly recommended - and my Mum treated herself to a delicious Coffe Cake

We chose to sit in the garden patio area as we had the dog and it was a little cold that day . Inside was packed but did look very cosy . The food was first rate with varied choice and good gluten free choices and great kids platters. The scones were the best ever. Service was a little slow but it was very busy. Great selection of homemade cakes inside

Lovely tea room with high attention to detail in the decor. The staff were generous, friendly, and worked very hard. I had crab sandwich, scones with jam and cream, and a hot chocolate. Everything was made with good quality ingredients and definitely made with love. If you're not staying in the village, there is parking in the street outside. Wheelchair access would be tricky due to it being an old building with limited room but I'm confident the staff would accommodate to the best of their ability.

After walking down from the castle I headed in here for lunch with the pooch. I was told where dogs could go and soon found a table. It took a little while for someone to take my order, but knee taken the food was bought out very quickly. The jacket potato I had was OK, warm, and mostly soft. The coleslaw that was stated as being 'homemade' I believe was not and came from a tub. But it was all nice.

Despite it being a Friday in early March, Bamburgh was still pretty busy, so much so, that it was difficult to find a table for lunch in any of the dog-friendly pubs. As it turned out this was a blessing in disguise as we then headed to the Copper Kettle for 'lunch'. Shona opted for a savoury lunch - cheese and coleslaw sandwich. Whereas I decided to opt for a sweet treat - The Copper Kettle's legendary cream tea. Two delicious warm fruit scones with jam and clotted cream. I opted for my usual 'Cornish style' on the first scone i.e. jam first with cream on top. However, as the clotted cream was quite thick (lovely, mmm) I opted for 'Devonian style' on the second scone i.e. cream on first and then jam on top. Much to my surprise this worked very well too.

The best tearoom I’ve been to. Might even be the best toasty I’ve ever had too. They were super busy and let us know as soon as a table became available. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. Had to upload a photo of my toasty
