Stopped in after a hike up the hills for a drink and food. Very quick and polite service and the food was cooked quick and very hot and fresh. Some good local ales on. Very good prices and the beer garden was busy and still they kept on top of serving people.
What a really nice pub 👏 my only complaint is that I probably won't go there again. Friendly and helpful staff 👌 and the house beer is to die for. Pat yourselves on the back you are doing a fantastic job 👏

Went in to the walkers bar for a pint after our hike. Cosy but lovely, with a decent drinks selection and reasonable prices. Despite being quiet, polite, and also relatively local; did feel a little negatively judged by a member of staff, presumably as being tourists. Would still go back though, hop

Good food, three real ales, great traditional atmosphere. A traditional bar (where children are not allowed in the evenings), and a very comfortable lounge provides a more refined atmosphere for dining. My husband and l visited the White Horse Inn with r dog after a lovely walk to Moel Famua. We had a very warm welcome ordering soup and sandwich and a cheese sandwich for r dog who had extra dog biscuits added to his meal plus a big fuss made of him from the landlord xx

Such a lovely pub in the village of Cilcain with welcoming staff who are very helpful. Only dropped in for a coffee and small half pint as out walking. Next time, going to have a meal as food looked delicious. Great pub atmosphere.
Lovely service and beers, not to mention the amazing food (we had the turkey pot pie and mint lamb shank, and sticky toffee pudding for dessert). Brilliant pub!
Nice pub, in beautiful location. We'll only had a drink in the rear bar area as we had our dog with us, but nice. Meals are apparently lovely here.
Arrived for our booked table @2.30 had very warm welcome from the bar staff. Excellent main meal and desserts . Excellent pint of Guinness .very clean. Would highly recommend to anyone.
