Stopped in after a hike up the hills for a drink and food. Very quick and polite service and the food was cooked quick and very hot and fresh. Some good local ales on. Very good prices and the beer garden was busy and still they kept on top of serving people.
What a really nice pub 👏 my only complaint is that I probably won't go there again. Friendly and helpful staff 👌 and the house beer is to die for. Pat yourselves on the back you are doing a fantastic job 👏
Totally amazing. The food is perfect, we are so lucky to have this pub on our doorstep. Great drinks and super clean and sparkly surroundings 😊
Stopped here for a light lunch whilst on a bike ride in the hills on a very cold day. Greeted by two friendly ladies in a bar with a roaring fire. Took the soup of the day served with thick cut toast and a generous wedge of butter and half a craft ale. Both delicious and well presented. Landlord could do with a filter, shouting through the front door to ask if there was anyone in 'cos there's a bike out ere!!'.
Our first time visiting this evening, served quickly, food was tasty and young lady who served us was very friendly. Good value for money and nice atmosphere 👌
2nd time we've been in 2 weeks with our dog Kenny D.
The White Horse is a beautiful country pub with a really cozy friendly ambiance.
The food is excellent.
A real Homecooked style. Very tasty and lovely quality products.
Highly recommend it .

Nice country village pub with a good selection of both local and branded beers. Food available but at limited times, check Web for details. Friendly staff. Limited accessibility due to age of building
Went in to the walkers bar for a pint after our hike. Cosy but lovely, with a decent drinks selection and reasonable prices. Despite being quiet, polite, and also relatively local; did feel a little negatively judged by a member of staff, presumably as being tourists. Would still go back though, hopefully just staff member having an off-day or something.
Great little place. Good choice of food. Staff are awesome. 5 stars.
Good food, three real ales, great traditional atmosphere. A traditional bar (where children are not allowed in the evenings), and a very comfortable lounge provides a more refined atmosphere for dining. Set in the beautiful village of Cilcain with lots of opportunities for a walks before dinner.Highly recommended.
