We were doing the tourist thing in town, when my super-spouse suggested that we find a pub -- not a restaurant, not an eatery, definitely not a fast-food joint. Mike, the neighborhood security guard, recommended The Crown. Good choice. …
9 of us had Sunday Linch here last Sunday. Carmen runs a tight ship, service was excellent as was the food and real value for money. We all agreed it couldn’t be beat locally.
Nice atmosphere. Dogs are welcome. Food is good quality pub fare. Steak and ale pie was very nice. Nice way of spending a Saturday afternoon in good surroundings.
Very good quality food. We had some traditional dishes like pies with chips and gravy. Baby food nice too.
On the corner opposite the church. Decently decorated and a good size place. Tap beers and a few real ales available. Staff were friendly and polite. A dog friendly place with a beer garden at the rear of the premises. Beer was alright. Enjoyed my visit.
