American themed diner, off the beaten track, next to a car park, with a bar and hot food. Friendly staff despite us arriving near closing. Helpful with dietary needs. Booth and table seating. Hope to visit again.

We decided to visit Stoneys for my girlfriends birthday, this place is an American themed bar & restaurant. We thought the food and drink was great, I was a little disappointed they didn't have Brooklyn Lager on draft but I made do with Shipyard. I had a burger and the other half had a steak, All good here. :)

The layout of the stoneys was clean and tidy. The staff were pleasant although when talking amongst other staff members and possible friends they was not really professional (messing around).
The food was good although in the menu it states linguine and just got ordinary spaghetti.
It was still a pleasant experience and will still be returning.

This was my first visit to STONEY'S, I must say it was brilliant, couldn't fault anything, the staff brilliant, Manager Paul extremely helpful and friendly, couldn't do enough for me and my friend who has dementia. The food was excellent and great portions, loved the chef. Highly recommend.... definitely going back.

Nice food, lovely staff and big portions!! My other half was only a little peckish so ordered just nachos from the starters menu... it was big enough to have been a main meal and the chilly was lovely.

Having visted Stoney's on a number of occasions, I contacted them about a group booking for 9 adults and 2 kids. The majority of us were doing a 70 mile cycle ride and wanted somewhere to re-fuel at our half-way point. Paul the manager was more then accommodating despite the group size changing, pre-ordered food choices being changed, and arriving around an hour later then planned. Everyone commented on how good the food was, and how helpful all the members are staff were. Highly recommended and will return.

Had the "Black and Blue" burger. Blue cheese sauce was the best I have ever tasted in a burger. The soft white bun bread the burgers come in is also a winner. Good place for infants under 2 years old. My son enjoyed looking at the lights in the Jukebox. Also have indoor heaters which is perfect for babies.

There was some left over food on the seat which wasn't very good, however, the rest of the restaurant looked spotless so I guess this was the exception rether than the rule. Other than that I can't fault it. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was very nice. We had the burger, fries and soft drink for £6.50 which was good value. We will definately try it again.
