Had a great experience here in the restaurant area. We arrived at 7 and it was completely quiet but soon became fully booked out. The atmosphere was nice, a cozy traditional pub vibe, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Our server, for whom I did not take the name (although she was a lady with a non-native accent) was so so helpful in helping us decide what to have, to put on the fire for us and with answering our questions! Thank you to this lady. Now the food, was exceptional! I can understand now why this has two Rosettes, and I’m surprised this isn’t promoted more because it’s a great achievement. We ended up trying a few different dishes but I only managed to take pictures of the venison ‘big plate’ - which wasn’t very big and you definitely need something with it - which was amazingly tender and full of flavour! I also had the miso stick toffee pudding which was incredibly moist and a delight to eat. Every single thing we had on the menu on top of these were brilliantly cooked and flavourful. Definitely recommend anyone in the area to visit, albeit paying a premium for this quality meal.

We walked from our camping site to the pub. The pub located in a magical village with a small river aside. Food is incredible and pricy. But worth every penny. Give it a go if you are nearby.

Really good food. Lunchtime specials of a lighter meal and a drink. Great desserts. We were really warmly welcomed and had great service throughout. I’ll definitely be back. For those needing accommodation, they also have a number of rooms.

A beautiful pub in gorgeous surroundings, first time visiting since the new management. Food: Very good, although the Yorkshire pudding was from the freezer which is very disappointing, considering the price point of the menu, it’s fairly expensive. (18.95 pork/chicken 20.50 beef) The roast potatoes were excellent and I would advise ordering the side of potatoes for an extra go! Service: This is a tricky one, although nothing wrong with the service and everyone being attentive, some very young girls working who looked on edge and not very chatty even when trying to engage with them in conversation. Atmosphere: Quintessential British pub! Dog friendly, alright grub and a decent pint! Locals (I assume!) friendly!

Absolutely fantastic food, atmosphere and dining experience. The staff are so so friendly and attentive, nothing was too much of a hassle and more than happy to help. We’re staying locally in Woodmancote and has just topped our break away. Great pub - thank you 😊

Very good food, friendly team and a lovely location. We popped in for a pre wedding lunch with a big table (15!). The team did an excellent job accommodating us, highly recommend the fish and chips or Ploughman’s, both were excellent.

On our tour of Somerset, Devon & Cornwall the Bathurst Arms was the Highlight! The ideal place to base yourself if you’re exploring the Cotswolds. Comfortable & clean rooms, welcoming staff and great food. The pub is a mix of tourists and friendly locals. Highly recommend! Make sure you explore the local villages on foot or via car. Make sure you take the roads less traveled!

Food was good although drinks and food had to be purchased separately, 2m apart from one another. Service charge for food from the garden menu and ordered at the bar was added by default, ok for me although others in my party commented on it, as you weren't really being waited upon. In a nice, quiet area although garden isn't much to look at.

4 lovely meals at lunch time, food was great and the beer was delicious. I had the fish and chips, wasn’t too much of a fan of the minted peas that it came with but the fish was huge and batter was light. Burger looked epic too

This place was amazing! The breakfast was phenomenal. The staff is one of the best, Jasmine went above and beyond. I will stay here again, it's in the country and it's absolutely beautiful there. The rooms and bed are very comfortable.

Amazing food and lovely place to eat. Lots of seating outside with plenty of shade and a small river runs past too. Great to stop by if you're visiting Cerney House Gardens opposite.

Great place for a drink. I'll try the food next time. Fast, friendly service. The Element Pale Ale is great and my wife was impressed with the Chardonnay. They have a giant bell tent in the courtyard - maybe another day...

Very inventive menu with tapas style dishes. Unfortunately not every dish hit the mark but the ones that did were delicious and all dishes were presented beautifully. The fish dishes such as the Gilt-Head Bream was cooked brilliantly but the meat dishes probably need a bit more seasoning and more depth of flavour to make them something more memorable. The menu has really good ideas and flavour combinations, probably just needs a bit of tweaking on the cooking. Very nice outside garden space by the river and tipi tent for outdoor dinning and drinks. They don't have heaters but they do offer thick blankets for the colder evenings. The service was good and friendly, one small mistake of not receiving the coffee I had ordered but that wasn't a big deal.

What a fantastic place. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, the service was warm, helpful and very friendly, and the food and drink were deliciously fantastic (especially the breakfast, which was worth the room rate on its own) . Set in the beautiful countryside of the cotswolds, and perfectly placed for going exploring round the local area. Well worth a visit if you're looking for somewhere to stay.
