We love the Makai bar. Great location near the pier but not too near. Lovely food, cider and wine and very friendly staff. Our son is autistic and he loves it in there staff always make him feel so welcome. Lovely view of the sea and ideal location to sit and watch the world go by, the airshow and fireworks from the pier! Would highly recommend it

Only does pod coffee but it's the only place on the promenade so better than nothing. Friendly service though, and looks a cool place to have a few drinks by the beach.

Friendly beach-side cafe/bar with great service and good prices. Dr Ska's DJ set on Sunday afternoon was a big bonus too. Great atmosphere.

Love this bar..Great when sun is shining feels a bit like you’re in the Bahamas inside the bar. Well done to the owner or manager really nice guy & the staff are very friendly. Keep up the hard work guys....👍

The best looking bar along the prom for miles, inside has a tropical themed bar (licensed) which made me feel I was at a exotic location. I just stopped for a coffee, but the food on the other tables looked really scrummy
