Souvlaki Bar And Grill

We went to the American Diner for lunch and were met by a friendly waitress. We were served quickly and efficiently. As a family of 6 with 4 young children our palettes can be varied. We were given a menu that had an American Diner option on one side and Cypriot Menu in the other. Our children ate food from the children’s menu, which was well proportioned, and my husband had a chilli dog, I went for the Stilton burger. It was all delicious! We were so happy with the friendly and welcoming service and the fact that they served Keo, that we came back for our evening meal. We shared a Meze for two between the six of us. It was fantastic! Plenty of food for us all to sample, full of flavour and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. If you’re visiting Clacton, I would certainly recommend that you visit either restaurant.

So I'm half Greek Cypriot and was therefore apprehensive about trying this place as a Couple of the reviews were less than positive and I am used to real homemade Cypriot cuisine. The food is amazing, the portions are generous and the staff are super helpful. We had delivery and they were so friendly. The koubebja (dolmades) were delicious, the moussaka was more similar to makaronia but to be honest I was pleased. The seafood salad was very generously filled with seafood and the burgers were delicious and homemade as were the sausages. I could go on about the fresh tasting grilled platter and how delicious and fluffy the rice was too but I think you should just try it for yourself and be your own judge. I will definitely be using this now as my go to takeaway, and definitely when we pop out for a bite too. Thank you for creating my childhood food and bringing it to my door.

Great breakfast better now than its ever been have you changed your chefs?? lovely flavor to the mushroom all round great breakfast value for money well done keep up the good work😀.Since we went to the Souvlakl Bar and Grill the breakfast has been terrible sausages are not cooked properly bacon is horrible what is going on here not very good we tried it again on the air show and they were doing burgers outside. They were burnt&dry not good and they charged £5.00 for them liberty won't be going back even the Toilets we're dirty what's going on Souvlaki bar ??
