Been to Michaelangelos on many occasions. The staff are superb, food is amazing and have never had a bad meal in here. Great place and comes highly recommend!
Booked this restaurant on spec,as a) We like Italian food and b) it was very close to Clarkston Hall. We were certainly not disappointed. The food was perfect, as was the ambiance of the establishment. If you are the type that likes staff, They are Brilliant. Michael, is one of the friendliest I have come across, and even though we only had three drinkers (And one driver) He and the rest of the staff treat the group equally. If we lived in the area we would not be away from it.......Marks out of 10 would have to be 10
We had a family meal there on a dank Thursday night but the welcome from Imogen and Lucy brightened up the evening. They looked after us very well and are a credit to Michaelangelo's. Our chef popped out from the kitchen and introduced herself and checked that our food was to our liking. We'll definitely be back.
Very quiet on a Saturday night but perhaps because of this the staff were absolutely on their A game. Food was very good, we tried the simplest things on the menu and they were spot on. The tiny frontage make it hard to spot and easy to mistake for a takeaway but inside is an authentic Italian family restaurant. No pretense or airs and graces.
Will be back to try the richer end of the menu next time.
We have just arrived home from Michael Angelo's, this was booked for our anniversary dinner, and our first time there, I have very strict dietary requirements which makes dining out quite stressful, have to say, manager is very empathetic, service was impeccable and the food was the best dining experience I have had in a long long time, flawless in every way, if your thinking of booking a table, stop thinking just book a table you will enjoy every aspect of this fantastic restaurant! Thanks to everyone that made our night out that extra bit special, and compliments to the chef, outstanding food cannot thank you enough!
Mark and his team are extremely welcoming, they enhance the atmosphere of this family restaurant with their infectious enthusiasm. No request is too much trouble and the food is exceptional. Can’t wait to revisit.
Just home from special dinner with my family. Mark the owner took time to explain the menu personally and made us feel like VIP guests. We had two small children aged 3 and 6 with us and were concerned about their requirement.
Mark listened to them and they were catered for with exceptional food and service which added to our experience.
The food was exceptional. Scallops were cooked to order and were the most delicious I have eaten in ages.
Service was wonderful without being overbearing.

Great little local Italian. Food is superb. The shape of the restaurant detracts from the atmosphere a bit but not much can be done about that.
Great eatery. Fab food and great wines with a knowledgeable maitre d’ / manager. Informal atmosphere a d fun place to be.
Love it here, I'm always guaranteed a great meal. The menu is always perfect. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Can't wait for the next time. Ps try the organic wine that leaves you hangover free X X X
