Visited The Surf Shack on a Friday morning with my 3yr old son and how lovely it was. From the first we stepped through the door you could feel a warm welcome and the staff there were ever so friendly and attentive. The cleanliness was 5*, the food was great and had so much choice of homemade savoury and sweet. The fudge and rocky road were to die for. My son really enjoyed the soft play upstairs, great selection of toys, learning activities and he also enjoyed his lunch box. Can't wait to go again.

As someone passing me in Cleckheaton Town centre said to me this week, surf shack is Cleckheaton's best kept secret. Lovely ice cream every time and friendly staff. Let's not keep it a secret anymore!

We came here just before lockdown and we had lovely experience. From the midlands visiting in-laws in gomersal, this is a godsend and hidden gem.
Friendly service and a lovely Atmosphere. I hope to return again once the lockdown is over and take friends.

We went for afternoon tea. 3 adults & 2 children but only 1 child eating as she’s dairy free, but the staff were more than obliging.
They had dairy free ice cream & some cakes.
It was delicious.
I will definitely be returning 😋☺️

The place is very clean and comfortable and the fscilities are excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful. I love the choice of coffee there andthe range of ice creams on offer

Lovely staff. Excellent coffee. Gorgeous ice cream. Highly recommended, and can't wait to return for some of the gorgeous looking baked goods.
Kids play corner is a wonderful addition too 😊
