Visited The Surf Shack on a Friday morning with my 3yr old son and how lovely it was. From the first we stepped through the door you could feel a warm welcome and the staff there were ever so friendly and attentive. The cleanliness was 5*, the food was great and had so much choice of homemade savour

We went for afternoon tea. 3 adults & 2 children but only 1 child eating as she’s dairy free, but the staff were more than obliging.
They had dairy free ice cream & some cakes.
It was delicious.

We came here just before lockdown and we had lovely experience. From the midlands visiting in-laws in gomersal, this is a godsend and hidden gem.

As someone passing me in Cleckheaton Town centre said to me this week, surf shack is Cleckheaton's best kept secret. Lovely ice cream every time and friendly staff. Let's not keep it a secret anymore!
The place is very clean and comfortable and the fscilities are excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful. I love the choice of coffee there andthe range of ice creams on offer
