Trawlerman

My hubby and I came this afternoon for a carvery. The service we had from walking in the door was great, The wait at the bar for drinks and food orders was a little long but it's Sunday so we expected this. We had the vegetarian options and both meals were lovely and probs one of the best carverys I've had in a while . Despite it being very busy they place was still very clean and a good atmosphere. We also had a take away cake but there was only had 2 options left which weren't what we wanted but they was still so nice. I think we will be making a return soon but make sure we book a table next time.

Went on a Friday evening, had the carvery, the meat was lovely, however all the veggies were just about warm, and some were even cool, and the yorkies had the proverbial soggy bottoms, but saying that it tasted nice, the staff were friendly. NOTE- The website currently says it’s dog friendly inside, but they are only allowed in the beer garden (bit cold in Oct to sit outside eating!) the lady who rang to advise us said they have asked head office to change it, but it’s not yet been done.

Really impressed with the food and service. I haven't been here in years and only decided to go in with my son for something quick to eat while in the area. Got friendly service when arriving and the food quality was awesome. I don't tend to eat carvery food when looking for places to eat. With that being said the trawlerman is brilliant. Definitely somewhere I would go again. Highly recommend

Staff were lovely, as soon as we arrived they greeted us and took us to our reserved table. There was a big queue at bar so we used the code on the table to order our food and drinks and thought we would have to wait a while due to how busy it was but our drinks arrived within 5 minutes and not long after the food arrived also. We were full after the main course but loved the look of the desserts menu and the cakes in the cabinet so asked if it was possible to have takeaway dessert as well as the cakes and the staff said certainly, We will be coming back next time we are there on holiday and will definitely recommend to family and friends.

Was recommended by a friend to go try The Trawlerman carvery whilst stopping over that way. What a great recommendation it was also 😋 the beef melted in my mouth and a great selection of veg also. The service was amazing also from the team that was on Sunday, they couldn't do enough for our little girl 💗. We will definitely be back again when over Cleethorpes next year.

We are staying at Haven Thorpe park and had intended to eat on site, however the food wasn't great so we ventured out....we were a party of 5, celebrating my little boys birthday. The pub was clean and inviting, with a pleasant atmosphere. Staff were all very helpful and the meals were served looking appetising and at a good temperature. It all tasted very nice and generous portion sizes too. Dan, behind the bar was very helpful. We brought a birthday cake for my son and he was responsive when we were leaving and offered us a take away box for the remainder of our cake. We used our blue light card so obtained a good discount too. All in all it was a pleasant experience and we are planning on coming back tomorrow to sample the carvery. Well done, would definitely recommend 😊😊
