It's located just a few shops Way from the main street but it's worth walking there for a quick lunch. Good value and freshly prepared light battered fish! The chips are nice with curry sauce / peas.. The fish & chips are way better than a lot of the branded shop around 5b4 area. The owner is very nice and friendly during our visit! Would recommend and eat here again

This place is a little gem in Market Street Cleethorpes.
Food excellent and GF option very nice, staff are friendly and helpful and the price is very reasonable. Most of all the allow customers to bring their Dog in and give a water bowl for the pet to be refreshed as well. I do not have a dog but friends do, so we can all meet there together.

Quality fish and chips at reasonable cost , located of the sea front tucked away on the side street . A good place to dine for under a tenner a head , ps the fish can be very big if you order a large . So check first on size to see if you can manage it . All produce served very very fresh to order in the restaurant . A well priced chippy tea of fish chips b&b curry sauce and a mug of tea to sit down was around £8.60 , and was plenty , I did share my fish as it was a big one , but very nice . Recommended for the big eater . Always a pleasure to visit since this posting we have returned time and time again it really is a great traditional fish and chips shop/restaurant that is great value for a tourist area and a totally independent local business , I hope they continue to do well !! .

Went here for lunch very friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing with great potions and at great prices. We had a wheel chair with us and was offered help with assistance ie movement of chairs/tables. Would definitely recommend. Would I go back definitely 💯 yes. Thank you

We visited Meggie's with Peggy my 9 month old Cairn. I always have Fish, Chips and mushy peas whenever I go to the seaside. Family tradition. I have to say I had the best ever meal of Fish, chips and mushy peas. Plus a mug of Yorkshire tea! Service was brilliant and staff helpful and friendly!

Ernie Becket's had a que out the door so we come here and wow we were amazed that everyone wasnt queing here. The chips were lovely like buttery and the fish was as fresh as you could get and it was 6 pound cheaper than Ernie Becket's we had more than enough on plate and we most definitely recommend. We took it home and it was still hot

We went to Meggies on the 8th April, we were welcomed in by really friendly staff.
We ordered fish, chips and peas twice, large fish and chips, a chicken nugget with peas meal, extra beans, we all had two drinks each , the toddler had Warm milk the staff were so helpful. This is our go to restaurant now. Well done!!

The food was good. Standard English Fish and Chips with Curry Sauce and Tea along with Butter and bread.
Only issue was they only accept Cash. The second issue we faced on the day was the Rubicon Can Soft drink was Expired in Nov 2020 and they were still serving in July 2021. ( Just check the date - probably still using pre-COVID-19 stock)

I really like this fish and chip shop. Ate in and was served pleasantly and efficiently with did delivered quickly.
The place is clean with bright pleasant decor.
The cod and chips I had was delicious with notably tasty batter.
I will probably always go here when I visit Cleethorpes.
