Cafe Enigma

Found this place on a Sunday brunch time. Open! No cafe in gy is open at this time . The service was great the food was delicious it was fresh cooked to order we had a fry up the older couple was fantastic told us to take a seat. The young waitress topped our coffee up as she knew we didn't want milk. The table design is lovely. Old school. Lots of tea pots and service cups. The food cost £6.50 per meal that is including lamb dinner. We was very happy here . A Cleethorpes little gem . I would highly recommend this place so cute

Enigma is a nice small cafe on Grimsby road in Cleethorpes, it's a nice clean cafe with an air of the traditional plus a few quirky additional decorations. It's tables and chairs are a mixture of varying sizes and styles. The staff are friendly and welcoming that matches the atmosphere of the cafe. Food wise,there's a good selection on offer, which include breakfasts, a good selection of traditional roasted meat dinners,pies and puddings,all homemade in style and very reasonable in price. Table service is provided. The wheelchair access is good and the tables could easily accommodate a wheelchair or buggy. It has a restroom but I don't think that it's chair friendly being situated at the rear of the cafe. Parking is available along Grimsby road and adjoining side streets. It's cash only here. They have a 5***** food hygiene rating. Food review July 2019. I ordered a traditional roasted lamb dinner and a pot of tea. The tea arrived promptly and my meal after a short wait. It was a good sized plate of food which included roasted potatoes, new potatoes, mashed potatoes, parsnip, swedes,carrots, cauliflower, cabbage, broccoli and green beans plus a reasonable sized portion of nicely roasted lamb and a couple of Yorkshire puddings. The meal was very tasty and very reasonably priced at £4.50 plus a further £1.00 for a decent pot of tea. Yes the Yorkshire puddings were of the frozen variety but given the excellent selection of vegetables🥦🥔🥕 provided and the quality of the lamb,nothing to complain about really,good value for money. Update September 2022. Popped in for lunch here today, I opted for a traditional roasted Beef lunch, an impressive meal arrived after a short while, an large selection of vegetables with some delicious roasted beef and Yorkshire puddings, a really enjoyable meal and good value for money. I paid £6.50 for my meal.
