The Limehouse

Visit of 1st of June 2023: It's been a while since I first came here and hence this late review. Extremely attractive, contemporary decor and to me it has a lot of an American gastropub feel to it. It has a musician's 'open mike' spot and a great atmosphere was on when I returned in the evening for a drink! Don't remember the musician singing and playing but he was certainly very good.. Very funky, great music in the background and the staff were amazing, very friendly, welcoming and attentive. A big thank you and shout out to Lottie who was Five Stars and an amazing person. Lottie immediately made me feel wonderfully comfortable, relaxed and as if I was a regular client or part of this Limehouse family. My Salmon small flatbread with the trimmings was very tasty, freshly made and delicious. The pint of Atlantic Ale on tap served in a proper handle pint glass was perfect and accompanied my meal fantastically. What a pity I don't live on Hill road or Clevedon otherwise this gastro establishment would certainly be my very favourite to go place! To you all at the Limehouse, I certainly hope that your boss or the owner looks after you all! You all are no doubt the 'A Team' that makes us, new or regular clients very grateful with your hospitality and excellent service....especially LOTTIE Highly recommend this gastronomic delight serving traditional British and American cuisine. Definitely will be back again next time I'm in Clevedon...

Lovely place to have a Sunday roast. When you book they asked you to preorder if you can which I recommend. As soon as we sat down, they can over to confirm our preorder and ask if we wanted any sides. Food came quickly and tasted great. Staff were attentive and helpful. Would definitely come back again

Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere makes the Limehouse a solid choice for drinks and food. Toilets let the overall experience down but it's not a deal breaker. Only stopped in for drinks on this occasion but I have enjoyed the burgers and chips in the past, above average food imo and the price does reflect that. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

I'm so glad we found this place! The staff are really friendly and seem genuinely interested in making it the best experience possible. And the food is absolutely amazing - it was a great place to stop for a drink and meal after a sunny walk. I didn't get a picture of the onion rings because a blue hedgehog came through and ate them all!

We were a walk in here for a late Sunday lunch a few weeks ago. We were tempted by the burgers only to find that Sunday roast was the only option. We so nearly went else where but decided to order Sunday lunch with fairly low expectations being this is an American themed sports bars of sorts. Wow, we were wrong, utterly superb roast beef, lovely and pink and a very generous portion. We returned to today with my mum & again they didn't disappoint. One of the best Sunday lunches in the area. Highly recommend.
