Love this place. Visited again on Sunday 23rd oct. Had the gourmet menu .The food was great again , as was the service and great value for money. Highly recommend the cookery days too. Learn some great tips from a top chef and then eat the 3 courses you've been shown how to cook. Be back soon.

My partner and I stopped here for dinner whilst driving down to London after having read some of the positive reviews. We were not disappointed! The menu was an inventive take on some classic British pub dishes, to start we opted for a homemade black pudding and cured salmon, both were very well presented and the salmon especially was exquisite. For the mains we had halibut with a bean and pork casserole and a slow cooked beef rib. Both were cooked to perfection and came with an assortment of delicious vegetables and sauces. The service was excellent, the staff were knowledgeable of the menu and were not rushed which allowed us to enjoy a relaxing meal.

Truly wonderful! - service, food, care and attention from start to finish. We had a family celebration in the perfect private dining room. Such warm, friendly service, and the food was exquisite. We stayed in Beech House just over the road & slept well & deeply in the comfortable, quiet room, followed by a tip top breakfast & lovely bimble around the village before heading off. It's a shame we don't live nearer - this was a true gem of a discovery & we hope to return! Thank you to all at The Olive Branch!

We have been here several times, sometimes to stay and sometimes just to eat. This was one of the latter. We had a superb lunch for four. Service and food were excellent. The ambiance was sadly spoiled by a table of over-excited women celebrating one of their 50th birthdays. They eventually calmed down, but it made conversation very difficult. Even so, we had a good time.

The food was a true representation of culinary excellence and was better than most top reasturants in London. But set in the quiet tranquil country village. Best of both worlds. The staff were very informative, professional, welcoming, and accommodating.

Perfect experience all round! We stayed at the chocolate suite in beech house and it was so comfortable and clean with tasty teas and coffee at our disposal. Very accessible being on the ground floor with a wet room included in the bath room. The food at the olive branch was sublime. We both have coeliac disease and I have allergies to nuts and shellfish, so it was a great surprise to have so much choice on the menu! My first ever steak tartare and sweetbreads and I’m fully convinced by both dishes. Everything was nice and fresh, seasonal, and a clear thought of sustainability. The wine selection by the glass was amazing too, lots of different styles and price ranges for everyone. Finally, that aged beef fat truffle with salt and passionfruit blew my mind, so much flavour. Don’t think I’ll ever have a better petit fours than that!

Pricy, but definitely worth it. Good selection of beers. Great wine list. Food was stunning. Menu changes regularly but if you get the chance beef short rib or seabass would be highly recommended.

I booked The Barn at The Olive Branch for a morning meeting with clients followed by lunch. If you are looking to get away from the normal distractions of the office The Barn offers the perfect venue: Remote, rural location, large room with plenty of space with projector, flip charts etc. Lunch afterwards was a treat as you would expect from The Olive Branch. I would thoroughly recommend it for internal/external business meetings and as a place to treat your employees/clients.
